- Taking off my Spec-D projector halo HID headlights and putting back my stock halogen headlights. Just a brief basic walk-through how this accomplish. I'm going to miss these lights.

Just did this today and replaced my headlights with the same ones, took about 2 hours maybe

I think i may be doing this project next weekend. I’m having issues with my HIDs burning out. So I’m going to replace the ballasts. Looks like they are bolted to the side of the headlight housing which doesn’t appear to be easily accessible.
Yeah its a big project 😅. Maybe get a HID wire harness or HID capacitors with the new ballast you'll be purchasing. 🤷🏿♂️

So I have factory HID on my 14 charger, I want to get these headlights but I can only find the halogen only fitted. What do I have to do to make them work?
You gotta be brave and do some custom work. 😅. These lights are dope but after 2 years gave me nothing but trouble. Essentially fried my power module. 😬
I was lucky mines came preinstalled with HIDs. They don't sell them anymore (i wonder why🤦🏿♂️ ha!)
You will have to do my some drilling and wiring (which isn't my strongest skill). It may not be worth but if you like challenges handle business.
The bolt holding my headlight in place broke and now my right headlight wiggles when i drive and it's driving me crazy

These came with HID lights built inside. I don't think they sell them this way anymore 😬

Caused me too many problems after the 2 year marks. It fried my lighting control module. I had enough and ready lol
The Spec-ds look so mean though. Why not just get them fixed to keep them?
Its a $500 repair. That's more than what the actual headlights cost. The Charger is gone now anyways. Least of my worries😏😅

Make sure you use a HID wire harness so you can connect it straight to the battery.
And HID capacitors.😉
