More differences! 3196 has a mounting rail with 4 holes along the top and an arri mount on the bottom that are missing from the 3575, along with the second filter tray you mentioned. Great video BTW, very informative - thanks!
Guess I should update this since mine arrived - 3196 comes with 1 filter tray, not 2.

I'm case anyone is curious, the tilta Mount almost works with the smallrig mini matte box, but you need to modify it first. The anti-twist pins on the tilta start at the right diameter, but taper towards the bottom so the bracket won't fully seat in the matte box bracket. You can remove the pins and either just use me screws, or get some arri style pins and drop them in. Then, this matte box has a ¼-20 threaded hole in the bottom, while the tilta Mount uses a 4mm thumb screw for mounting. I drilled out the 4mm to ¼" and left a thin threaded section to retain the bolt, and it works awesome. In case anyone else was looking for an inexpensive anti-rotation rail mount for the smallrig mini matte box. I believe they are coming out with a new bracket for the modular matte box that may fit this one, but I can't be sure as it's still preproduction with a few pictures on their site.

I wish they included a hole at the bottom of the mattebox to allow turning VNDs while using square filters.
I wonder if it is safe to drill a hole through the bottom.

You can buy filter tray separately. Which mean lite version is supported. Another different is mount hole in regular version

You should change your title to the correct model number (3575)...I didn't look at your video for the longest time because I though it was another model......finally found the difference between 3575 and 3196.....thanks

You put the lens hood on first then put the ND filter on 3:55

    Hi, thanx for the review!
What size ND filter can you use? Is that the same size as your lens?

I believe you have a Sigma 24-70 there. I received my lite mattebox today and attached it to the same lens but was surprised to see that I had a slight vignette when at 24mm with a circular VND attached... Do you notice the same?

That is the lens but when doing my videos, I use the 16-35 Sony G Master lens. I get no vignette at 24mm but some at 16mm. I'm using the Freewell variable ND filter. To be clear, the vignette at 16mm was caused by the ND filter, not the matte box.

I just bought this same lens and I got to go to 35mm not to get vignetting did you figure out a way to get it so it won’t from 24-35 , if I had a 16 on here would probably look like I had an apsc lens on a full frame lol

Yes I fixed it but I had to take off the ring that mounts the mattebox to the lens and then tighten the mattebox further down the lens with my own home made ring. It's cumbersome but it works. I don't think there is any mattebox that doesn't cause vignetting at 24mm.
