If anyone deserves a tax break for charitable donations, it's her. As said, it's not the first or even second philanthropic gesture by her and her late husband. I am assuming, via gut feeling, that none such gestures have been minor financially or regarding impact, based on this particular awesome donation! I'm sure she'd plough any tax returns back into a standing or new such venture. What an awesome lady and I wish her even more blessings than her life already gave her. I also wish the children from the Bronx to rise to her challenge of working hard at school so they can attend such a place. And as wheels spin, when they themselves get older and wealthy enough to help others out, if only on a much smaller scale, they remember the lady who not only opened the door to them but darned well kicked it down! Hopefully they'll be encouraged to do whatever is in their power, even if it's creating a grant to get just one poor but smart kid through the entire length of their student years. That on its own could change or save countless lives!
