The last guy was so stoked to get it. He had the best reaction.
I Have a 240GB sata 2.5 inch ssd and a 500GB sagate that is now 16 years Old
airi's delayed reaction to getting the ssd was so cute omg
With the waifu voice
She had anime voice!
@@PlatikumAiri does a freaking incredible Ash Ketchum impression, she does it when streaming from time to time
Its a win win for you and corsair on this. They dont have to pay anyone to walk around and hand out samples and get free advertising and you get to make content for CZcams. Actually a great setup.
Well they need to pay for producing those ssd’s
I bet it was hard finding people who had small SSDs that also had the money to travel to ltx. (Edit) lol you said that in the video
AWESOME Danny!!!!! That guy with the old PC had a 10-year-old AIO Corsair and PSU 10 years old wow! I have a 240 SSD SATA boot drive
Great vid as always Danny! I am currently using a Corsair MP600 1tb as my boot drive. So far I've had zero issues with it and everyone who got one will love them too. I got half way through the video before I realized I had the same drive haha.
I wasn't expecting to see Airi in this video, thats insane!
I remember her tweet about getting the drive. So cool of you to do this! Loved the video
"you want me to come down?" LMAOOO
hahaha "You want me to come down there?" bruh i'm dead
I wish I went, danny you are probably one of the best tech youtubers out there. Love the ride along pickup videos, even though there hasn't been tons recently. Amazing content as usual, keep it up! Also my build is running a 1tb crucial p3, pretty solid ssd for around $35. That is what most of my flip builds get as well!
Nice work man you are a saint helping all these wonderful PCMR folks.
Boot drive - 1 TB Kingston A2000 Nvme. For storage I have a 2TB WD SN350 Green Nvme & just picked up another storage drive - 2TB Intel 670p Nvme from Newegg during their Fantastech sale. Great video Danny & Corsair. Congrats to all the recipients. :)
I love seeing content like this. As for my storage setup, I guess I'm sort of "in the middle of the pack" compared to the folks in the video - I have 2 1TB NVMe drives (one Gen4 for boot, one Gen3 for extra storage) and a 1TB SATA SSD for backups and archival storage.
Awesome effort looking for all those people!
Great job, some of the receipients reactions triggered an emotional response in me
Very cool too see . Mad respect to CORSAIR air have always been fan boy...lol I have 256 generic nvme ..CORSAIR vengeance ram.. Great content!!!
Awesome vid. as always Danny. Mine has a 250 gb 860 evo 2.5 inch sata ssd for boot drive and two 2.5 inch hdd (500 gb and 1 tb)
glad you could help the peeps out
myself got an evo 980 1tb boot drive
sata qvo 970 1tb ssd for my steam games and the old 1tb hdd that is quite old and needs replacing at one point for normal random files
@nerdonabudget Where did you get the chrono trigger wall art in your older videos?
Great video it was really interesting seeing howmuch storage people had as for my system it's a x99(Ali express) a Intel xeon e5 2667 v4 some generic cooler(didn't have a name on it) with a rx5700xt 256gb sata m.2(yep I messed up) and a 2tb HDD I need to upgrade but been putting it off for far too long
I'm at 10:13. I literally upgraded from a 240gb sata SSD the week before the trip bruh. Could have saved like $90 if I would have waited hahaha
very nice work :) both you and cosair
People were so happy to get that upgrade! Another great video!
Also, in my rig, I have a fairly low budget build (it was sort of mid tier in 2020 when I got it and I got it built by a friend like a month before prices just went insane!) so it's got like four 1TB HDD and one 500 gig SATA as the boot...really wanting to upgrade to an nvme while prices are low, but man, I'm on disability and things are just rough with all the inflation (price gouging) on everything else...but might just put some more RAM, a 2TB nvme, and maybe something else on the credit card before the prices get bad again. I'll kick myself if I don't upgrade things while the prices are good and then have something fail and have no choice in the future.
Made some people really happy there, Danny. Awesome! Over here ive got a 1tb boot nvme SSD, 2tb sata ssd, and 1tb hdd
TeamGroup lost a good PR person there I guess
My sister is using a 128gb SSD in a Dell OptiPlex. I’ve wanted to upgrade her entire PC but I don’t know when I will be able since I’m struggling with money at the moment
256GB boot, 500GB Sata and 500GB NVME + 320GB and 640GB HDD's inside and 500GB external.
I have a 1TB Crucial P5 Plus NVMe Gen4 SSD. Love it. Crucial FTW!
Mine is a mixed bag. I'll start off slowest PC to fastest out of 3 PC's I use on a daily basis.
PC 1, ASUS Z97-AR - i5 4690K - 8GB RAM and just recently went from a 120GB Samsung EVO 850 to a 500GB 870 EVO SSD. Also spinning rust 1TB WD Blue - 2TB WD Black (2x LG Blu-Ray Drives)
PC 2, ASUS Z97 Formula - i7 4790K - 16GB RAM and Upgraded from a 120GB EVO 850 to a 500GB EVO 870 SSD. Also spinning rust 2x4TB WD Red - 4TB WD Black - 2TB WD Black - 2x 500GB WD Velociraptors. (ASUS Blu-Ray Drive)
PC 3, This is the oddball. ASUS Z390 Formula - i9 9900K - 32GB RAM and still using the 970 EVO 240GB NVMe. Also, SSDs 4TB 870 EVO and 3x 2TB 870 EVOs. (ASUS Blu-Ray Drive)
My laotop has a 257gb boot erive with 120gb extra drive and mt extra drive is a bit full
I have a 256Gb nvme and need to make space always on it and I have two 4Tb Mechanical Drives
I have a 120gb sata ssd in a old I believe it the 2009 one terabyte Western digital hard drive which is coming out 8gb ddr4 2400mhz ram ryzen 1600x rog b350 micro ITX I'm just haven't been able to upgrade and I'm always trying to erase games because they don't even start when I load them on the mechanical and there's not enough room on the SSD
I have a 1tb nvme a 2 tb mechanical hdd and a 3 tb mechanical. Great video keep em comin
Man I don't even have a ssd yet only 1tb hdd. I really need a ssd upgrade someday. I've been watching your videos a lot lately but only subscribed today!
I have 3 total drives.. 500GB NVMe WD Black system drive, 2TB WD Blue SATA SSD for games and a 4TB WD Black HDD for smaller/older games and mass storage.
Not too long ago, I got a 4TB NVMe m.2 SSD. It has been amazing.
Great video!
I have a 500 gb sata ssd boot drive and 1 tb NVME storage drive gen 3
I am SO hoping next year I can attend LTX.
ik im not there but i could ectually need one too i only have 240gb (224gb located)
That crowd was crazy, i couldnt find you... just before the event my friend gave me a 1tb rocket, what a legend
Running a 4TB WD Black NVMe SSD, 4TB WD Blue SATA SSD and a 1TB SanDisk SATA SSD as well.
2tb SN850 + 4tb Crucial P3+ in main rig.
0:40 Her reaction is literally like "What the hell am i supposed to do with that?" LOL
Nice job Danny.
This was awesome man!
lets see , MSI Z270 GAMING PLUS w/ 7700k , still have 2 EVGA single fan 1060 6gb cards remember when they were $169 and the best 60 series for the buck ( I had a total of 8, 6 on top and 2 inside when I had this also mining ) 2x 8gb sticks of ram, stock intel cpu cooler, dvd drive and I'm about to add some audio stuff to it. I have a very full Sabrient rocket and a new 2 tb platter I need to put in for game storage.. I'm hoping to upgrade to something with more than 1 m.2 haha..
I've built some nice pc's for others I'm just cheap assembly because I like building nice rigs.. I keep telling the gf I'm going to microcenter one day and I might not come back I'll just live there till I master tube bending.. and I never built a full water cooled system .. I traded a 80's 650 nighthawk in piece in a box for a 386x in pieces in a box .. he learned to build a bike I learned to build a pc ..
Man I wish I was there I use a 128gb sad for my boot drive
This man is out hustling fair play my dude good stuff
Here i am with my 256gb m2 ssd for booting :)
Nice video man, cheers from Italy!
in my case i have a 500gb wd blue 3d nand sata, and two hdd 1tb, one from toshiba and the other from wd. I the both are from late 2014 xdd
This was very cool Danny!
My boot hard drive is a 80gb Hitachi spinning rust i7 860 and a GTX260 1gb GPU from 2010 so a little bit slow like 5-15 mins from pressing the power button till I can do anything lol 😂
Good thing I only use it for email and CZcams
i have a 120GB drive i my system to boot and a 250GB to my games and i am running out of space but dont have money to buy more
gen 4 nvme 5000 speed drive for boot, Gen 4 nvme 7000 speed for games, and 2 1tb gen 3 drives. each is 1 TB
Don't have a PC but I do want to get into PC right now I have a PS5 with a 1tb extra storage
I have a 512 ssd sata from and a 1 TB hdd from WD.
but wow man these guys have storage at LTX. lol
Here I am with a 128gb boot drive with 28.7gb free, a 2tb data SSD, and a 4tb external JUST for emulation and roms. You're the bomb man. Keep being a champ.
Kid at 4:20 is wholesome af.
My HTPC has a 256 GB sata boot drive and a TB HDD.
SSD M.2 Samsung NVMe 970 EVO Plus 250GB PCIe
I wouldn't say 1tb for a boot drive, maybe 500gb at best
well, since you asked... gaming rig: 2tb sk hynix p41 platinum (boot), 2tb wd sn850 (gamez!), 2tb samsung 970 evo+ (moar gamez!!), & 4tb teamgroup mp34 (even. moar. gamez!!!). laptop: 2 x 2tb sk hynix p31 gold (gamez to go!). editing rig: 4 x 2tb sk hynix p41 platinum, 6tb + 5tb hdds. finally at a point in life where i can enjoy some things i never before had the luxury of owning and i might've gone a *little* overboard with it lol.
Ha, i remember watching this video in 2019!
2 TB NVME As my boot
256 GB SSD for documents
8 TB HDD for video games, which is full btw.
And a 256 NVME that's empty, no clue what to use it for.
do gen 4 ssd's work with gen 3 ?
You need a motherboard that supports Gen 4 speeds.
Yes it will work, it will just run at gen 3 speeds which is still really really fast for most use cases
Asking the size of my boot drive is kinda personal don't ya think..? 😂
What drives you got? UHH... I got an 13900KF... XD He had to flex it
Green t-shirt or white?
256 NVMe boot and 500gb storage for games
My only drive is a 2tb seagate hdd. I'll probably get an ssd when this dies, or never.
The hero LTX deserves !
Most people seem confused/Unhappy when he gives them the SSD, I feel like they all have prebuilts and don't know what to do with it.
You probably should tell me your channel name ✨ Super cool, I have my issues with Corsair but it's still a cool move 🤗
Bad time to flex boys.
i got no ssd anymore 😭
2025 upgrading peoples boot drives to 8tb
you gave more publicity to western digital and sabrent than corsair lmao
Ran into Linus, Of course Linus has 8tb
My two takeaways are that I make terrible faces and have a terrible memory. There is no way I could rattle off my system specs 😅
Laptop is on a 128gb sata drive. Desktop is on a 250gb sata drive w/2 250gb hdd's.
Not trying to be Downer, but im assuming people with a 128gb dont have nvme
I asked them their whole PC specs prior to giving them drives, I knew exactly who did and didn't have nvme support
Danny did you confirm that the girl with the 128GB SSD had a system that had an M.2 slot?
Main PC has 1.5tb nvme ssd boot and scratch drive, 1.5tb ssd's and 6tb spinner external.... Mac Book 256gig boot, Mac Pro 512gb, 2nd Pc as 1tb 10,000 spinner no ssd in that one. Asus Laptop 1tb NVME Drive with 2tb external spinner......
512GB SATA SSD for my boot. But, um, a 1TB NVME and a 2TB NVME for games, so I'm not worthy.
Btw: Booting from SATA isn't a big deal. I'd much rather have the performance for games.
pov theres me running on a 1 tb hard drive lol with 8gb of ddr3 ram
My laptop has a 512gb ssd but I have an external 2TB ssd.
i used to have a 240gb sata drive as my boot drive. right now i'm on a 500gb mechanical hard drive coz the stupid thing broke on me. hahahaha.
Imagine 1 guy lied about having bigger storage just to look good for his friends and on camera watches this right now. 😂😂
512GB nvme ssd and 128GB sata ssd
Great thing to do for people. But i bet most of these people with 128gb SSD's only have SATA capable motherboards 😅 nice drive for a future build though.
i have a 240gb kingston sata ssd lmao
512GB Sata SSD, 1TB HDD.
🥰🥰🥰
:)
We all know Linus is lying 😂
You know its sad when to have a nice pc you need to be fairly rich
No you dont. You just need to know how to save budget and also find deals
@@moparjr89 saving will leave you behind
lmao boot iam runnign 128gb old m.2 from kingston and 512 gb samsun evo ssd XD wish i was there sadly i liv to far lovely vid tough
*Great video good stuff*
Lmao you asking linus
