Good stuff! I'm just learning handstands themselves so I'm doing a lot of wall walks and yesterday I practiced kicking into a PVC stick which was wild and entirely different than kicking to a wall! These are great tips, and I can't wait to try them next time!

My brother is a mechanic, he played hockey but doesn’t work out anymore, he decided one day that he wanted to do handstands so he spent a weekend practicing and now he can handstand and handstand walk. It totally threw me off when he popped up on his hands. It’s his party trick. Lol

My bad if I miss it but the learning of the proper bailing out stuff has not been thought about.

Sorry for the 5th month late response to this but I am a police officer in VA and you do not have to stop on a highway that is divided for a school bus.
Here is what I found for GA:
Divided Highway of Four or More Lanes with a Median Separation - When there is a median separating the lanes of traffic, only vehicles traveling in the same direction of the school bus must stop when the school bus stops for children.

I like your thoughtful podcasts. The snatch is also a form of "kipping" - compared to a strict press. Butterfly is a beautiful, technical movement - I'm no expert, yet after 6 years of Crossfit I can honestly say I never got injured from them, at 40+. Why shouldn't people practice BOTH, strict and kipping? Like saying all salt, no pepper! 😁

HSPU and HS walking literally has nothing to do with fitness. The sooner CF eliminates these dumb events that drive away a mainstream audience, the better. Or stay weird and cry about why CF is still a fringe sport.

I strongly disagree. Being upside down is absolutely important to fitness. Especially for younger athletes like in kids classes. This also means that for the games, where the best are tested, they need to perform certain skills while upside down. Walking and pushups are easy to impliment and evaluate. I do agree, they could get away from one or the other for a year and even introduce different skills upside down. By definition, fringe athletes are actually the opposite of crossfit athletes. A powerlifter or triathlete are examples of fringe.

What is “fitness” in your definition?
