  • Join me as I share my creative journey of transforming college furniture for my daughter's apartment on a budget. The first piece is a sewing table I picked up at a garage sale. I cleaned it up and painted it with Krylon paint in classic white and then used the IOD transfer Whispering Willow on the drawer fronts as well as a few details using IOD Olive crest mould. I then added Folk Art Design Cream in Gold to accentuate the embellishments.
The ottoman I purchased off Facebook Marketplace and it was pretty grundgy! I cleaned it up with the Rug Doctor and then painted the fabric with Krylon chalk paint in Sweet Baby’s Breath.
Both of these pieces turned out fantastic and look great in my daughter’s college apartment.
