- Hi! As the game is finally officially available, I've decided to share my own experience from the game from beginning to End.
I did absolutely everything from the game, recorded all the important stuff. If you don't want to get spoiled althought it's from a game that already existed, don't go on the internet.

Man,what the shiny odd on this game,it look like this game is have the easiest shiny hunt.
Just filling in a page in the Dex raises a given mon's Shiny chance by HALF. And it gets halved further if you fully complete all research tasks for a given Mon. And that's BEFORE the Shiny Charm. Hell, they give you a SHINY PONYTA as part of a request.
Props for that

Everyone: How many types you can be supereffective against?
Arceus: Yes.
Terastalization: No.
i like how judgement actually looks different depending on its type
yeah it's not just a color change on the projectiles. There are at least a few distinct projectile types, as well as separate collision and path effects. It's amazing.
They look so good. My favorite one's gotta be Dark, Dragon and Fairy. But they're all cool in their own ways
Arceus being able to quick change types to always have super effective damage was exactly what I've been wishing it had for years! I hope the Legend Plate sticks around for future games!
Legend plate arceus is basically Greninja/cinderace with protean/libero and life orb, exept arceus doesn't get hp drained, and is absurdly bulky
If arceus status change from Mythic to Box legendary, may god have mercy on the restricted formats of generation 9 of vgc
@@davidsamudio3899 I imagine Arceus with legend plate will just be restricted to anything goes like mega raquaza was, no? Seems like a protean arceus with... well all the types would be a bit much to handle for a competitive scene lmao, given there wouldn't be a great counter to arceus save arceus
@@sbollimpalli an arceus with protean/libero and Life orb with no hp demerit is absolutely terryfing, my hope for VGC is that it stays a s a mythic, and not used because of it, but of he gets upgraded to legendary, VGC will be literally just Zacian and arceus, as for Smogon, yeah there is no doubt about ir, Legend plate arceus is Anything goes
They also buffed judgement to 120 power, but now is 5 to 8 pp
I would say Arceus is too OP... but let's be honest, that is exactly what he should be.

Tbh tho I was kinda expecting him to also automatically change to the type that has a resistance to the foe though this is merely a copy of Arceus so it makes sense why he wouldn't go all out lmao

Pokemon L:A's animation team deserves a raise. They went crazy for this game.
2:31 That Vaporeon survived a 120 BP+Stab move despite its level being 30 levels lower than Dialga's. What witchcraft is this?
vaporeon is the tankiest of the eveelutions it probably has the proper nature as well
Levels seem to matter less in this game I’ve heard, as well as the EV system being changed. Often you can’t OHKO those many levels below you, they have a lot of HP

Fun fact: The special Judgment will never turn Normal-type due to how it works. The only Ghost-type interaction is still at mercy to RNG because it could pick another type instead, and there's only one spawn of a Pokemon that triggers it.
No Pokemon that would get Dragon-type one exist in this game, since most Dragon-types would get Fairy one instead.
I’ve had Arceus become Dragon type against Palkia, since it prioritises Dragon’s resistance to Water over Fairy’s immunity to Dragon for some reason.
@@MarthaVsHumanity I guess it sees resistance and immunity as the same?
It doesn't seem to check for weakness, only resistances, and as you can see it turned into both a Fairy and Psychic-type against a pure Fighting-type, so if it sees multiple valid options it picks at random.
Though the fact that it sees "resists one type, weak to another" as equal to "immune to one type, neutral to the other one" as equal is really funny.
I forgot, can you rematch Palkia after catching it?
@@Dukstless yeah, you can! You just need to beat Arceus first, then just go back to the Temple of Sinnoh to rematch it.

Yes. Hyperbeam can now realistically decimate you
Cresselia now gets what VGC fears all these years, a reliable recovery move
also heals you from status conditions
and increases evasion

Palkia's spacial rend looks sick. I wish Dialga's move froze the movement of everything on screen except himself, or slowed down time
There's a reason I say that if they thought about it, RoT should be a Priority move that boosts the priority of the next move used! It will never be used like that for (balance) reasons, but that's what it should be!

I think roar of time is the only one I think looks better in BDSP. Except in real time mode, that massive charge up wave was awesome.
Why I have no idea why they changed it. It looks like an actual roar not hyper beam 2.0

Pokémon Legends: Arceus, a game where you can be sprayed by bugs, tackled by rocks, or FRACTURED BEYOND REALITY BY A MALFORMED GOD
This is one of the primary reasons I've been with this series so long and probably won't leave it. XD
3:12 Vergil's Judgement Cut End
My two favorites were Shadow Force and Judgement.
I like how when Arceus changes it's type, it's move Judgement has a new animation and it's not just a different color.
All of those look amazing. Especially Giratina's Shadow Force and Arceus' Judgement. I especially love the Bug, Grass, Water, Poison, Ghost and Dark Type versions of it. Gamefreak/Nintendo went above and beyond with the animations for these moves.
Wish we still had ???-type Arceus around. I liked the color palette. (???-type was used for Curse back in the day)

Spacial rend animation always gonna be top tier.
I feel like Landorus' signature move is broken. Being able to burn on top of that damage and ground typing is insane.
It's balanced by the low Special Attack of the Therian form and Sheer Force from the Incarnate form
seeing all the different effects based on each type for Judgement is such a cool detail
If only they kept the firework style of judgement. This still looks cool tho
I feel like the firework would be way too complicated to implement given the immersive camera style. hopefully it returns alongside different animations for each type in the mainline games going forward

Half of this games visual budget (heck, budget in general) went to animating Arceus' Judgement (Sora's Ragnarok)
Ragnarok works differently because the beams shoot out all at once while Judgement sends the shots in waves or one at a time.

Its interesting that Arceus uses Shadow Force when you battle him as an out of battle move, but doesnt learn it. It wouldve been interesting to see the literal god know the moves of the trio at the very least.
