@@ncrl3279 firstly I am not an American, and secondly I love the positive sides of the country, the culture etc. And I really do love the anthem, it's just that some words may seem out of the key, you can see many videos in CZcams, that supports it, but that's what makes this anthem beautiful, it's unique and original and different singers like Beyonce, Angelica Hale(from AGT yess), Grace Vanderwaal and Jackie Evanche, sang it in their own way, and I meant the same, people don't sing CARELESSLY, but conveying the beauty in their own unique style.

I’m confused why people are saying chill she’s 11. If she sings on with cameras everywhere and does a bad performance, she agreed to do the performance. It’s called getting experience. She wasn’t good in this one but clearly she improved.
Cause she is a child. She agreed to do the performance it's not like she could control her nervousness that naturally happens when your a kid performing infront of thousands of people. But this was a huge opportunity and she's a little girl who loves to sing, she isn't gonna pass it up. It would be stupid to pass it up. But what she didn't agree to was the horns, that could've stopped for atleast 2 mintues, so she could hear herself.

harper grace actually came to my school and talked abt this with us... she said she got thrown off by the loud instruments and how the mic delays the speech. she also doesnt come from a music family so she didnt understand how things worked and was informed that the singing wasnt going to be publicized.
That must be traumatizing for her. She was probably terrified. And seeing people bully her it's rude and disrespectful. This girl is really young with all of that can make her commit suicide. She was a really great singer, even if it was a bit pitchy, she was scared.

I have to say this.. I sang on a football field once. There is a echo and you would not believe how distracting it is. You don’t notice it in the stands. The echo is louder then your voice.. at 11 years old .. she handled it well
Yeah, that's true of any open outdoor area. Those areas are just really reverberant by definition, and it can be really off-putting if you're not used to it. It's so disheartening to see all of the hostile comments here - she's not bad at all!

She’s a *CHILD!* (or at least she was). I understand people to be mad if it was adult *cough cough* Fergie *cough cough* ,but a kid, an innocent kid, is just cold. She was probably nervous. But her standing up and dealing with her “failure” is so brave of her.
