We are a family owned and operated Dairy Farm in Michigan.
We finally got enough snow to ride the snowmobiles. Sanders needs to get a couple buckets of grain and decides it would be better to haul them using the snowmobile. Ethan has finished restoring his 1971 Massey Ferguson Ski Whiz and takes me for a little ride.

Cool machine. Our dad ( 6 kids) was a M.F. partsman, so had some use of these( 400&404)( I think)machines.Lots of fun for us kids. I had a whirlwind in my adult years.

Don't miss that at all. We have a lot of cattle down here in central Fl. , but not so much dairy. There are a lot of Long Horns & Brahma & beef cattle,,

We used to have an old Moto-Ski and a Rupp 440 in the 70s, had a ball on them in the fields and out on the lakes. I remember the old Masseys some people around us had them.

Did you know that snowmobiles came from a guy named Joseph Armand Bombardier from Québec Canada. Due to the fact that during a snowstorm, his son died due to road blocks. So he coundn't bring him in time to the hospital. With that in mind he invented the first snowmobile capable of going through heavy winter storms with many feet deep of snow without any problems so he "maybe somewhow could" save some lives! And it was back in 1936!

Wow! A functional Ski Whiz with an original track! I have not seen one of those for years. Last time I saw the neighbors Ski Whiz, I was riding our 1969 Ski Doo Nordic 371cc electric start. Early 70’s, almost 50 years ago.
Just be glad that you didn’t get the amount of snow that Nova Scotia, Canada got. The cow chores just keep coming no matter how much snow or cold. They just require more hay.

My Grand Daddy was a Massey Ferguson dealer in Oxford , NC use to see the snow machine in brochures but have never seen one in person . Cool ! Kenny Rogers use to say that you have to have (3) things to make life complete . Something to love , something to do & something to look forward to and if any one thing is missing life is not complete . I think it’s pretty true . Y’all work so hard I’m glade y’all are playing hard and having Fun !

Living in Jackson we are not as close to the Lake as you guys are so we don't get as much snow, Thank God. God Bless your farm and family.

Wow that Massey Ferguson snowmobile is really cool! I have an old John Deere snowmobile from the 70s that Ethan would probably think it’s pretty neat. You got it enjoy the snow once in a while🙂

@@acresofclayhomestead when my niece and nephew were small they wanted uncle larry to pull them around. Hooked up behind pickup lots of fun dumped in snow lots of giggles and smiles until grandma found out

How do you keep your feet warm? I've worn those style of boots and there cold.
A warm winter with no snow is not good for someone with a snowmobile .
My feet don't stay warm in my boots. But wool socks help.

Rhonda something that will help is a boot dryer. I have 1 at home & 1 in the shop. If your muck boots are dry & warm with 85% to 100% cotton or wool socks are a must.

Nice to see the kids having fun the older son I like his sleds it's a good old sledgehammer the younger kid it's a sweet sled as well but ge just needs to not keep letting off and on the throttle ..I'd hate to see him burn a belt up but he is doing real good on it ..and I'm not trying to down him at all so make sure ya let him know that just belts aren't that cheap all the time but ..why dont you drive one of them you and mckenzi lol that be cute ...let me guesse oooh boy .lol anyways godbless
