I do love how much of this ended up turning out to be true, with a lot of the MCU now being built around how simply bringing everyone back after five years didn't really fix all that much.
They love to act like it was this world ending thing that we still must recover from, and also like it was just a weird week and then everything was normal. We never explore the really interesting ideas, like characters who got remarried during the snap or people who came back to find someone took their house.

That's true, yeah. I think that the MCU suffers right now from having no real clear direction, different stories not really feeling connected. You can argue that's basically what comic books are like- different storylines often being self-contained- but comic book storylines typically took decades to really shake things up. The MCU in the span of thirteen in-universe years (and about fifteen in real life) completely shook up their continuity and then... just sort of moved on as if this wouldn't shape all the stories moving forward.
Not that I don't think there are some great stories being told from the MCU right now, but I do think things are stagnating a little.

Guys they didn't predict Ukraine. Russia has been going there since like 2015, most people just chose to ignore the conflict until it became a full blown invasion.
The puppet state installed by the US in 2014 also has been shelling it's own people since then. I have no problem believing 91% voted to be annexed by russia.
technically Ukraine has been a shitshow for about all of history except for like, the brief period between the mid 90's and 2014

If Thanos snapped half of life out of existence, it’d kill half of all plant and animal life.
In Infinity War and Endgame the reason for him snapping was so there'd be more resources for all of the remaining people, so I think it was just sentient life since plants are a resource
Then again meat is also a resource so it'd be a whole debate over non sentient animals getting snapped or not

The real reason they didn’t go back was because Endgame runs off Dragonball logic, it’s the same reason Trunks doesn’t go home after “saving” Goku. His timeline’s already fucked, he just went back in time to separate but equal timeline.
Even with super advanced tech I struggle to believe the world would even kind of function after the snap. Top scientists, religious leaders, presidents, animals, all gone just like that, and then returning everybody with the snap without any proper preparation
It would genuinely be the biggest refugee crisis in history.

and even if time travel worked like that it would have to put all the characters in a new timeline, which means new universe, which means the stones don't work there, thus the world doesn't exist in the first place
