Curious -- how do you think an excellent div 3 team like Mary Hardin-Baylor, North Central, Univ Wisconsin-Whitewater or Mount Union would do against a garbage div 1 team? I happen to think they'd beat a bad div 1 team. Any thoughts on this?
I think those teams could definitely compete in d2 but i depends they might even be able to win a lower d1 game
@@kingheller9320 I agree with you regarding div 2, I think they'd go a bit over .500 in div 2 if not a little better than that. I do think they'd be pretty even with a very bad div 1 team, I actually think they'd beat, in a very close game, a very bad div 1 team. Of course we'll never see a game like that bc the very bad div 1 team has too much to potentially lose and nothing to gain.
May do well, honestly. A school named St. Thomas is in their second year of FCS football after moving from Div III and already won 10 games and finished in the top 25.

How many d3 players actually played in the nfl in the last 20 years?
There have actually been several. In fact, some have come from non-NCAA schools. Some players have come from the NAIA, and in 2012, a player from U-Sports, a college sport governing body in Canada, was drafted in the NFL.
