I’m happy to see North Central win I’m a fan of their rival Wheaton who handed NCC their only loss and it only makes both teams and the conference look better by them winning

After North Central edged Mount Union and MHB got upset, NCC was the team to beat. UWW is always there, but NCC was on a mission. Nice work guys!
Since 1993, there have been only 2 D-III title games where neither team wore purple; 1995, WI-La Crosse (maroon/silver) over Rowan (brown/yellow) and 1999, Pacific Lutheran (navy/gold) over Rowan. Three other times, a team not wearing purple won the title; 2003, St. John's (red/white), 2004, Linfield (blue/red) and 2019, North Central. From 2005 to 2015, only three teams vied for the D-III title; Mount Union, WI-Whitewater and St. Thomas, and all wear purple.

@@tygrkhat4087 Linfield most definitely wears purple. The 2004 game was Purple-on-Purple action, with Mary Hardin-Baylor being the other oppoenent.

Jacob Halfman Hey man, you guys were fantastic and we enjoyed the back and forthing as well! It’s a shame that the game wasn’t closer, but North Central’s offense has done that to teams all season so UW-W should have nothing to be ashamed of.

D3 playoffs need to change. Happy for Central but no way should they have played Mount Union first round just because of a single loss. Makes zero sense having two teams play that are both in the top five first round.
Yup, and the same thing goes for having to play a team from your division within the first two games although I heard something a out them trying to change that
Not a fan of how these are seeded. Every conference winner makes it, so the bottom conferences always get smacked by Whitewater or Mount Union normally. It’s quite awful
They played in the second round, which is usually when the good teams start to see each other in D-III playoffs.
You do realize that the vast majority of the teams that made the playoffs were either undefeated or had one loss right? Like literally out of the 32 teams that make the playoffs at D-3 only 8 had 2 or more losses. Meaning there were 24 teams either undefeated or only had 1 loss. Not to mention NCC beat their first round opponent a 7-3 Wabash 55-15. Please tell me more about how the D-3 playoffs need to change. Personally D-3 does the playoffs better than their D-1 counterparts. At least with D-3 they crown true national champions.
@@techlorknight338 You don't have a single clue about how the playoffs work and why they need to change. Take North Central and Mount Union. Both teams were top five teams in the country however because North Central had a single loss to their conference champions they got seeded with Mount Union even though they're a top five team. That's why D3 needs to change. Good teams get shafted if they lose so instead of getting their correct seeding they're being fed to Mount or Whitewater or Hardin.
Not once did you even bother to ask for clarification or even bother to learn why. You just went right into snarky bitch mode.

If he would have made those, it would have only been a 2 possession game mid way through the 4th when WW recovered that onside kick, a huge difference from the 3 possession game they were against instead when they recovered it.🤷♂️

Curious -- how do you think an excellent div 3 team like Mary Hardin-Baylor, North Central, Univ Wisconsin-Whitewater or Mount Union would do against a garbage div 1 team? I happen to think they'd beat a bad div 1 team. Any thoughts on this?

Nick and C.J. better keep their eyes open because this kid throws a great ball... Very accurate, good velocity, great mechanics overall. I don't care if this was D3 or not, that kid has some SERIOUS talent. Impressed!

There is no promotion. Only way a school moves up or down is by choice or NCAA mandate due to size
@@osu5inarow True. In recent years, the only program to downgrade was Idaho, which went from D-I FBS to D-I FCS.

Not sure why I'm giving a serious answer to this question, but it varies. A lot more black players on some of the other premier D-III teams, including UMHB, Wesley, Delaware Valley, etc. But yeah, this doesn't look the same as SEC football.
