Did you first stain a coat with the brush into the gaps and edges and then stained the hole thing over or is it diluted paint what you've brushed on first? 🤔 Awesome how it came out, i love that different kind of use look you've reached on that one in comparison to most others i saw on ytube.. To another time i will definitely build a chest like yours👏🏻😎💪🏻
It is lovely and i really like the colour it is amazing . I like dark finish on wood !!! Have you ever thought to use the piece of the door with the glass ?
I wish I could order this from u .I been all around my whole city and can’t find a decent size to put in front of my bed. I thought u could make it but this hammer and nails not gon cut it.

Its beautiful, but the tools you used only a full time professional have, this project is not for DIY, I am looking for project, that are simple in nature can be done with few basic DIY tools like circular saw, mitre saw and drill/driver
0:15 ... that saw guide moves more than an inch before the cut is finished. lol. You would have been better off just cutting with a regular skill saw. You don't need that $1k clumsy thing.. hahaha.
Serious know-how and serious tools allowed you to build a SERIOUSLY COOL CHEST! Nicely done!
Thank you, seriously!
Who needs doors? Great work! It was fun watching this.
Wow ,I would really like to.hang out with you for a week ,to help me grow as builder....Such a great peice...Thank you for sharing.

Thank you. I saved that piece just in case I wanted it for a future project. Any ideas?
Maybe a cabinet (as a part of a larger piece ) not on the wall , like a buffet
Great idea, I’ll have to look into it.

Wow
Amazing work! Could you post the dimensions of the woods
Thanks! Unfortunately I can’t because it was a gift so I don’t have it anymore. If I can find my sketch I’ll let you know.

6:02 did u help the wife mate??:)
Of course!
How much would this sell for if you were selling it. This is awesome wish I had one.
I have no idea. Very expensive if I charged by the hour though. Resawing that mahogany door took a long time.
neis
Link to where you bought the hardware please?
Big box hardware store. I built the corner braces though.
wOW!
Thanks!

It can be done with those tools. Just need a hand saw to rip the pieces in half.
What are the dimensions?
I don’t have it anymore, it was a gift. But I can try to find the sketch I made to build it.
I did it too. This is what I used Stodoys designs for
