Hey Preston, nice job including the vocals. Colter and some others play this with everything tuned down one step and a Capo on 2nd fret which returns to standard tuning. I have a Martin HD-28 with Santa Cruz medium tension strings so I tuned them all down, Capo on the 5th fret and , voila! Got the same sound as you. I like it plus the simpler strumming with palm mute. Sounds good!
