I really do highly recommend making swatches of all the art supplies you have and using them! especially for things where the caps don't match! It's extremely helpful to use swatches. I'm not always in the mood to swatch either so I wait until i am in the mood then take out one of the supplies I need to swatch. At this point i now have all of them swatched and it's easy to stay caught up when I get new supplies! Long ago I didn't use swatches but after I kept accidentally using the wrong colour SO many times I said Thats it! and started swatching! Been much more accurate and happier with my colours ever since! Fun video thanks!

After a hundred years of neglect, I finally decided to resuscitate my art hobby. While I have collected some new art supplies (colored pencils, graphite, watercolor), I am just now learning about alcohol markers. Iâve been researching these for several weeks, and just like everybody else, I want the Copics. Unfortunately, my budget does not. This set seems to have everything that Iâm looking for and I have already used your link to purchase a set. Itâs the refillable ink and replaceable nibs that did it. And as long as swatching is a thing, the color discrepancies donât bother me.

An easy way to be less heavy-handed is to hold the pen lighter. Like if someone just tried to take the pen out of your hand it'd be super easy. A tense hand will make you surprisingly heavy-handed.
First of all your drawings are very cute and awesome and fun! So when are you going to do the 411 about the markers? Iâm seriously wondering if they are a good value in comparison. I like that they have more brush nibs. Keep going on your art!
The reason the marker colors looked different on the swatch paper vs yours is because they used marker paper for the swatch sheet which like you pointed out has a waxy layer to it to prevent it from bleeding through, the paper you regularly use soaked up the ink more and made it less pigmented
The uni ball signo white gel pen is pretty good! Or the glaze gelly roll. You can find both on amazon for lile 5-11 dollars of different kinds! Also can you review touchfive markers? Or have you already?

SLICK HEAD you can make great art with any material! Sure, more expensive supplies can be easier to use but if you get really good with a harder material just imagine how good you'll be when you eventually get the better supplies! :D

The swatch paper I contacted Liz from ArtnFly and told her how the paper swatch reacted to thethe ink and she said they will try to get the swatch Cardstock to not do that I had sent a pic of them but I noticed if I turned the swatch card around and the colours were great. I let Liz Know and she said she will inform new customers re same

It's happening to me too. I don't know what the problem is. Sometimes my notifications come as late as 4 days.
I havenât used any white pens other than posca pens but I have seen videos of people using different white pens and in my my opinion posca looks the best.
