    Hi Lena! Last March I started running. I now run the 5K effortlessly and I am now training for the 10K. There's a certainty: every run ends with one of your post-run stretch videos. I am therefore very happy with this new video.

    This is a very valuable video, thanks. A small question - should we do this stretching exercise from the video directly after the run, while we are still warmed up? Or maybe 1 hour after the run - e.g. when we return home? I read somewhere (sometime in the past) that static stretching should be done at least an hour after exercise. Well but on this movie, it's probably not static stretching - I am not sure. Thank You in advance for the answer.

      Hi Krzysztof, thank you for your question. In this video we are doing static stretches. When the muscles are warm, they are more flexible. Stretching them at this point can improve range of motion and accelerate recovery. More specifically, stretching right after a run can help reduce muscle and joint stiffness that can occur post-workout or post-running, known as delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). Stretching after 1 hour is also fine, but than I would do a bit longer session like this one -> czcams.com/video/y4xT0AG66DU/video.html
