    When you say PRESS CANCEL then “KEEP pressing” do you mean keep yr finger holding the down position or multiple presses? I’ve tried both. Holding the cancel switch no error code appears. When I hit cancel continuously every error code appears one after the next. What should I do? Thank you I did do the reset and this worked.

    2nd press of cancel repeated after 00 long beep. If you cycle through each error code a long beep is the error. If 00 = ok

  • @luccawouters6158
    @luccawouters6158 Před 3 lety +7

    I don’t seem to find any error code it only beeps long with the 00 and it only turns on and opens in the heating mode but doesn’t even blow any air. Do you guys maybe think this is a small bug or a major problem?

    • @dawsonhc
      @dawsonhc  Před 3 lety +1

      If the long beep occurs while '00' is displayed on the screen it means the system has not yet registered a fault.
      '00' in the fault menu indicates the fault status as normal.
      This doesn't mean there is not an issue with the machine, because if its not working then clearly there is. The system may be low on refrigerant or a fault that is not yet severe enough to register on the control board. We would suggest having the system checked by a qualified cert 3 refrigeration technician.

      mine is red blinking without any beep sound,, have you solved the problem?

    • @dawsonhc
      @dawsonhc  Před 2 lety

      Hi Tracy. Sorry for the delay in our response. Assuming you have tried to switch the power off for 30 seconds and back on again?
      If it is still showing an orange blinking light and the indoor unit, if you have a recent model with WLAN compatibility, the Orange flashing light can indicate it is not connected to the wireless network.
      This does not explain why you can't get the controller to beep when you hold the cancel button for 5 seconds. It is possible that the system has a faulty PCB or other component. Can you please confirm what the exact model number is and we will research this further for you?
      Thanks

    I don't get a long beep, I get a double beep on any code with a U in it. Works on fan but not on heat or cool

    • @dawsonhc
      @dawsonhc  Před 2 lety +3

      If there is a double beep when a U appears, it means the "System" is in fault and not specifically the indoor or the outdoor unit. Normally when you continue through the error codes, the long beep confirms the second number is correct. I would suggest trying the alternate method of checking the error codes but you will likely get the same result.
      1. Press the following 3 buttons simultaneously - Temp Up, Temp Down, Mode.
      00 appears and the first digit willl blink.
      2. Push the temp up arrow until you hear 2 short beeps.
      3. Push the mode button and the second number will blink.
      4. Push the up arrow until you hear a long Beep.
      If this still doesn't work and your system can't be reset by powering the power feed off for 15 seconds and back on again, then we would suggest contacting a local HVAC service technician (Certificate 3 qualified recommended).
      Good luck

      @@timjohnun4297
      U7 indicates a communication error on the outdoor unit, and this fault is generally found on VRV (multi head) type systems. This could mean you have a number of air conditioning indoor units all controlled by one or one group of outdoor condensers. Either way this type of fault would require you to contact your local service agent for inspection and repairs. Often this could be a faulty PCB, faulty power supply to one of the units or a number of other issues. Good luck and we hope you can get it rectified soon.
