- Norwich University ‘s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies welcomed Vinh Giang to campus as the 2018 Residency Conference keynote and Todd Lecture Series speaker for “The Psychology of Illusion, the Power of Perspective.”
Giang’s drive as an entrepreneur and his methods for constant self-improvement reinforce the week-long Residency Conference theme of “Build on the Past. Lead into the Future.” His presentation will cover a wide range of topics: influence, perspective, goal setting, and thinking outside the box. Giang will use magic to illustrate how these topics have affected his life and business practices. His personal experiences align with Norwich’s focus on experiential learning and its values of teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, perseverance in the face of adversity, and personal responsibility.

“My friend’s (others’) perspective is power. The collaboration of many perspectives is how we excel in life. Don’t be a victim of the belief “we know it all” - it’s the beginning of our downfall.” Vinh Giang
Wow!
And this was 4 year ago just imaging how even more masterful Vinh is with his craft. ( P.S Is it just me notice that this crowd is tough to please like a 3 dollar steak )
Such a wise, funny magician and an intelligent person.
Today is Christmas 🎄🎄🎄, and I can proudly say that this is the greatest thing that has happened to me this year. Thank you Vinh, 💖💖💖💖. Thank you, NU.
Omg I did not intend to watch the whole video at once but I just did!! It was too good! Thanks, Vinh. Lots of work invested into this speech!
Likewise, seriously it was really inspiring and impacting .
Loved the analogy of building an army by reading books. I hope listening to audiobooks counts too.
vinh is the best
indeed
Such an amazing and interesting speech that I've seen
Nothing unique about the magic itself, but wonderfully presented and I liked how he tied it into his presentation.
The mind reading trick, I think the way he does it is by watching Frank's vocal cords and figuring out how many syllables it is. From there, he needs to remember with a word that is starting with a 'U' and has the right amount of syllables.
When he said the second letter was N I guessed it was unbelievable because before that Vihn mentioned this word couple of times
WOW, you are amazing!!!

such a clever one.. just finish watching.
The irony of the internet is that the "What Does The Fox Say?" music video has got like 999,995,000+ more views than this video...
I’m glad. Less of us know the secret now. 😊
Yup
"welcome me in joining Vinh to the stage" lmao
SHEEESHHHHHHHHHHHHHH VINH YOU THE MAN
There is another thing you can do to help other to retain the information. Make them laugh and enjoy the intake of information
Wow vhin. How?
Watching this 5-y-old video directly after your much newer content allowed me to realize something. Previously I would not pay attention to you touching your glasses 3-4 times per minute, but if you would ask me specifically about it I could eventually admit it was a bit annoying. It's impressive how much of self-improvement you achieved over those years and you are still willing to share that knowledge with others. Thank you for that, Mr Vinh.

I believe
When he asserts the 5 fundamentals of speech, they are all basic to music.
I spend time with nobody.. just listening and taking notes online or be entertained with youtube.. so what does that reflect?
❤
😊
I can't lmagine I just spent more than a hour watching a talk video ordinarily for a movie
Mr. Vinh Giang, you're lucky you have and had parents and family who love you. Without them you would be nothing.
this comment is so sad
Oh so we can just abdicate our responsibility to do better if our parents don't love us...whatever that means...
