This is a fun opening not many movies have nowadays. It was so dope to see this in 4dx and have wind blow in my face as he was swinging

There was even a Karen in the first Iron Man where she runs down Iron Man in a car with some kids after he saved them from Iron Monger.
They handled a serious situation in a funny way, but still made it feel serious. They got good jokes in and saved the VERY serious stuff for later in the movie, as a good movie should. This whole film is an absolute masterpiece!
I never even noticed that the music for this scene was "I Zimbra" by Talking Heads. One of their best songs ever, and it works perfectly.
Only David Byrne could make a song that so perfectly captures the anxiety and thrill of those first few minutes

I love how the opening few seconds of the film were done. The teaser trailer had revealed that the film would begin immediately after the mid-credit scene of Far From Home. I was curious on how they would start the film. I figured they would either have to begin the film by reshowing the whole mid credit scene or have begin immediately after Peter says, “What the f*ck”. What they did was a combination of those 2. They basically had the audio of Mysterio’s video play over the Sony logo, the Columbia Pictures logo, and the Marvel Studios logo. Once those logos were done, the audio is now caught up to the moment where Peter says, “What the f*ck”. The first image of the film shows Peter saying that and then we see what happened immediately after that. That was a brilliant way to begin the film

I actually saw this at a drive-in where there was a huge lineup and I missed most of this, so I am glad to have seen it now.
i missed this too, didn't realize the theater i went to didnt show 30 mins of ads, so i showed up late
Props to marvel for their ability to balance action and drama with humor. The end of ffh made me so angry and this opening, while originally tense, quickly became entertaining in spite of the situation the characters are going through.
Trust me a lot of people were frustrated at far from home

I spent a couple days binge-watching ALL of the Spidey-focused Spider-Man movies, Starting from Tobey Maguire’s trilogy to Tom’s second movie to get ready for this film. I was NOT ready for how spine-tingling and terrifying the opening music sounded when the audio from Far From Home was playing with the logos.

Wow its a roller-coaster of a film to show spiderman exposed, the reactions to it by ned and flash, May and Hogan breaking up, May glad to meet MJ, helicopter following Peter's apartment showing them live, the authorities coming in and separating the group, MJ outsmarting the police, Ned spilling the truth, the Police threatening May's guardian Hood, Mat Maudok bailing them out, the news reporting that, Mat explaining the situation, the brick attacking the group only for Mat to show his sensory before Peter, and the group moving to Hogan all in freaking 10mins 😲
When I tell you I got chills from watching this cone in theaters!

This movie was absolutely fantastic! I saw it in theaters with my mom and bonus-dad as a Christmas present from them, and I absolutely enjoyed it! It pays homage to Sam Raimi's trilogy (2002-2007) and Marc Webb's films (2012-2014), it has a great emotional aspect, great visuals, great cinematography, great characters, and it's even more faithful to the comic books than the first two films from the Tom Holland era! And I gotta say... it's a HUGE improvement over the other two Tom Holland Spider-Man films! I enjoyed getting to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, as well as Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Rhys Ifans, and Thomas Haden Church again! That was so amazing!
I personally love this starting scene as a editorial viewing point, sound design is a masterpiece...
NWH definitely has one of the best opening intros to a CBM. Really did a great job establishing that this film was going to have major consequences for Tom's Spider-Man.

If they discovered that the drones was made by Stark Industries, they should also be able to determine that they had holograms built into them. And from what I remember, the ones with holograms was the second edition of those drones, after Peter gave EDITH to Mysterio. So technically all of that should have lead to Mysterio not Peter.

This is what it's like to get caught in a controversy. As a reminder, his heroics were mainly done in secret but the collateral damage of it was often visible. So of course some would immediately believe he's a murderer. Even with Matt's work, it was not going to sway public opinion and some were going to go out of their way to make his life as miserable as possible. They were also going to go after his loved ones and I say they were truly his loved ones not harboring any ill will towards him and trying to help him.
