The navy sweater with the leather skirt is just gorgeous on you - a very slimming look! I also liked the caramel dress at the beginning, not sure at first, but when you went back to show the whole dress, it was lovely, nice and comfortable, looks great to pop on on a nice day. What a brilliant idea to fold the throw and fix it with a toning belt!

That just brought back a lovely memory of going to Primark with my mum years ago when it first opened. We got completely carried away with how inexpensive everything was, totally over bought, then giggled all the way home on the bus as mothers and daughters do, taking up four seats with all our bags! I'm a big fan of blue as well - I liked all the items.

That was a surprisingly good Primark haul Helen. It's years since I've been in there but must pay it a visit. Loved the blue shirt with the pockets and the knitwear. I know you love blue but my husband sort of put me off blue a long time ago. Where he worked when we were in our first home they were selling off blue paint at staff discount and he kept bringing some home to our wee flat. We had a blue bedroom, bathroom and kitchen! I called a halt when he even painted the balcony blue!! The air was probably blue too!! Thanks for reigniting my interest in Primark.

Another fabulous haul ! I have the dark green sheer shirt which looks fab with white vest and Jeans. Handy to double up for a night out then a beach/pool cover up. Primark jumpers are really great quality, much improved as is the sizing, much more generous than previously. Love the raincoat ! X

Loved the cardi, moss and navy sweaters! Also, the color of the raincoat was so gorgeous! So glad you're getting your haircut - have always thought it would look wonderful in a French Bob - you could let it air dry, utilizing your own curl/wave, add a little shine product and it would be so modern. Wish I knew how to attach a photo!!

I was in Primark this afternoon and didn't see the cardigan or the jumper anywhere.
I saw the chambray shirt but didn’t try it on and now I'm regretting it as it looked lovely on you. I didn't really like the feel of the other blue shirt, thought it felt a bit synthetic tbh not at all like silk so I didn’t try it either. Saw the leather skirts but I don't wear skirts so didn't try that either. Loved the raincoat but I don't need one.
Tried a few other items and they all looked horrible on me so I left them. I think sometimes the cut in Primark isn't great so things can look bad when you try them on, but the Edit ranges does seem better than their normal range.
I hate shopping which is why I love watching you do try ons as it does the work for me and if I like it on you then I know I'll like it on me as we have the same hair colouring although I have brown eyes, but I had to go to Kingston today to the bank so I popped in to Primark for a look. Might have to go back and get that chambray shirt.
They move everything around so much, you really have to look hard for good things xx

I haven’t shopped in PRIMARK for years, indeed, I’ve avoided it as I hated the jumble sale mess the store so often was!! That said, I’m now wishing Primark had an online shop (I rarely get into Bristol now as it’s too much walking) as I loved the items you showed us….the edit range looks brilliant! Xx

Amazing clothes for Primark . I maybe go in once a year, but never ever can I see anything I like , always just looks suitable for under 30 ‘& I’m over 70, 😂but still like fashionable clothes , but , I will pop in to look at the new range , next time I’m in town . Thanks Helen .

We have a Primark here in S. Portugal - been a while since I visited it - about 50 minutes drive from here! I think as long as you have a good look around you can find so many things to suit - I still have Primark items from way back…….maybe it’s time to go again! I absolutely loved the denim shirt, the blouse and the pleather skirt - you really did find some great pieces. X

I’m with you on the hair dilemma. I have thick really curly hair and it’s like a workout trying to dry my hair by the time the front is dried the back like my friends says looks like a poodles bum that’s been sat in a puddle. I live in Berkshire but go back to Hillingdon to get my hair coloured, cut and blow dried the hairdresser I’ve had for years is the only one that can blow dry my hair. Your hair looks really nice long by the way.

Some excellent items Helen. I particularly like the blue sweater. Your comments about your hair could be me. We are away for two months all over the world ,living out if a suitcase ,and my hair is a nightmare. I will definitely have it cut on return. Like you say young girls do not know how to do blow drys and giving body to thick hair. Love the jewellery too especially the blue stone,of course!

Was in primark last week, missed most of your choices but the items you tried on definitely look better than on the hanger so I will go back this week and look again. I’ve got a Burberry trench coat (cost a fortune then) had for years the sleeves have become tight so I think I may well go for the one you got, love the colour.
You really have to look past some of the things to find the gems xx
Actually, i love the faux leather skirt and blue shirt on you, looks gorgeous ❤❤😊 you can put a blue or black singlet top under the sheer shirts, and wear them as day wear with the white pants, jeans or even the faux skirt.😊

I bought a faux leather jacket from Primark a few years ago, and I had to throw it away after a couple of years because the faux leather peeled horrendously. It will be a long time before I buy any faux leather from them again.

The faux leather skirt and shirt looked fab on you ( tucked in) and was very slimming, may try it though I'm very saddlebaggy fat thighs !
My hair too has a mind of its own so I always end up having wet cut locally and blow drying myself !
I love blue too my mum did ( think I'm turning into her😂)
Love the chambray shirt too and jumper and cardy ( in fact just send them all to.Essex!)
I mustn't try the raincoat as I have far too many coats!! ( or shoes or indeed clothes) but off to Primark Thursday .

Wish there was a Primark here in Nashville. Seems we have either cheap or expensive clothing stores. Nothing in the middle left, I'm afraid. Loved everything except the chambray shirt. Just personal taste.

Primark certainly have some super nice pieces especially the raincoat. Comfortable clothing is important which is not always easy to find along with a reasonable price point. Cannot go wrong really. Thank you for sharing xx

I’m not in love with the first dress. Honestly, when it came on, my reaction was-that’s not her color-it’s too yellowy. The idea of it was good, but the color-for you, was off. It improved with the first sweater, but I just didn’t think it did you any favors. Plus, no pockets, right? I loved, loved, loved that chambray top with your black pants. Very smart, updated, and chic! Thanks Helen!

Your right you did so well at primark. Their spring collection was made for you.
Really like the cut and length of the caramel dress, a wear all day dress. Good cardie, prefer it to be jumper but bargain price. The blouse is a lovely colour on you, really smart skirt - makes a good outfit. The denim top looks very expensive and is a super fit. With this rain the coat is super, good coat to take on hols. You really had a good shop and yet again a good informative vlog.

Reading all the comments below about hair styling brought back memories! Ive got 'hair issues' and made the decision some years ago to become a wig wearer. Now i just go to my cupboard, decide what colour and style i want to be that day, take the wig out of the box, give it a shake, pop it on and I'm good to go. Salon fresh looks every day of the week!

Medication turned my hair curly and so I’m having to learn how to do anything with it in my 50’s! Finding someone who knows how to cut curly hair is much harder than you’d think
I’ve got naturally curly hair and it is a nightmare but you get fabulous products for curly hair now that you didn’t get years ago. Theres good videos on you tube that help you to handle it too.
I probably do know as there is a lot of curly hair in our family and I mean a lot! Katie follows the 'curly girl method'. xx

I think Primark quality and style has improved a lot. I could never understand how anyone could spend £100 in one go a few years ago. Now I have to be careful going in there as I see loads of things. I said a few years ago the I thought eventually they would bring in a slightly more luxury line in. They now have the Edit.

I use to be a bra fitter in Cavendish House, Cheltenham, yrs ago, (sadly they are closing now after over 200 yrs!) sign of our times, and 81% of ladies are in the wrong size/shape bra's, sad but true.😂❤. Thank you. I did work with Bravissimo who also have online consultations. To be honest, I think you're best to order lots of bras in different sizes, try them at home for an hour and then once you've found a brand that suits, stick with it. xx

I think the first dress is a VERY flattering style, fit and flow...Looks great with the cardigan and pullover sweater (jumper) The dress might well look better in one size smaller, but not sure. Smaller on the top; yes but smaller on the skirt might not look as nice. It just flows beautifully over your hips AND is a great length
