Dried smoked herrings (amani)
Kanwa/ salt peter/ biocarbonate of soda
Dawadawa
Onion
Kpakposhito or any pepper

Cow feet
wagashie (local cheese)
Palm oil

Exactly! Because most of the recipes online ain't original. Which is disturbing because that just means we are losing our culture! Our identity. It's a different thing to say "modified" recipe and another thing exhibiting the recipe wrongly!

Lami, found you last night after shuffling through different channels for a TZ recipe...your recipe o doubt is THE authentic recipe... using your recipe now... love the stock you adddd to the jute leaves, none of the others did that.
