honestly, if she overproduce milk, she could've pumped it and donated it to hospitals for the little ones who lost their moms during their birth. Rather than having her husband drink it.

My aunt had breast cancer but before she fought out or it got really bad, her doctors suggested her husband (my uncle) tried to see if he can clear up any milk (she was breast feeding at the time) and see if it could help her. However like I said it was a doctor recommendation and it was only to see if he could help her. He did not do it due to enjoyment, but just to help his wife.
But also… your aunt and uncle weren’t publicizing or glorifying it, and it was for her health for a legit medical reason. Those are important distinctions. I hope your aunt is doing well now.

Breastfeeding a child, and then suddenly made to stop for any reason for any length of time, you will become engorged, or full breasts to the point of being hard as a rock, heavy, excruciatingly painful. If you stay in a state of being engrorged for too long, you can get mastitis, which is a infection of the milk ducts, that can, and has killed women. The only way to relieve engorgment is to express, or drain out, the excess breastmilk by breast pump, by hand, or by feeding, any way to get rid of the extra milk. So when she said he saved her life, he very well could have. If she was engorged, she needed relief. I dont exactly condone what they're doing, and by that I mean the sharing what they do behind closed doors with the entire world. Like Daz said, "What happened to PRIVACY? "

I just I have no words besides me being disgusted. There is no reason to breast feed a grown man or even your kids that are above the age for breastfeeding. People amaze me with the stupid things they do🤦🏽♀️😂
To me, it doesn’t really matter what they do, it’s them, but their are things that you have too or need too keep to yourself. Bullying is a real thing, and I’m a bit nervous for them kids. They seem like a great family and all, that is what matters their kids are fed, loving parents. But we can’t think negatively about them bc they do one thing weird is how I think of it. My mother wanted to breastfeed me (when I was a baby, I’m not weird) and she couldn’t and she felt really bad, to be able to breastfeed your own child is a gift❤
My mom didn’t want to breast feed which is totally fine. But my stomach was always upset with formula and she knew this and continued to give it to me anyway. She said I was such a cry baby. Never stopped crying or trying to run away lmao. I used to scream for help in stores and I had to be leashed 😂

@@maddymoomyersMost formula is made from cow's milk I believe, and baby cow's have 4 stomachs. Humans only have one stomach. When my daughter was born I breastfed her, but I also wanted a break sometimes so I let my husband give her some formula sometimes. She didn't really spit up breastmilk, but with formula, whoa, watch out! On the other hand, my nephew was raised on formula, but he seemed fine other than spitting up. If only we could live in a perfect world where everything is easy.

Right I saw on ITV this morning show a few years ago a mother who still breastfeeds her 9 year old. Each to their own i have no problem with that part but it’s the people who know that child! They will recognise the child’s mum on national TV and god knows what they will face at school. It’s out there forever. I don’t know why people share this stuff when there’s innocent children that they are dragging into it!

Luckily in THIS specific case, while yes the milk is intended for the growth of the CHILD, it adapts as the CHILD gets older. More extreme cases still in the realm of "acceptable" would be lactation up until the child is 6-7yrs of age I believe.
However, if there are no more babies as long as the husband keeps "feeding" consistently then she will keep producing.

@nea4113 it's perfectly normal. They are still babies and need their mothers' comfort and milk to help them grow. Yes they can eat normal food but still need extra nourishment. But you don't find it weird that adults drink another species' milk even though they don't need it
