Imo this new Vehemence album is their best yet. I think the folk instrumentation is even better. The melodic hooks are still there and keep my interest. The clean vocals work on making it sound epic. It is long but it’s still a Great album.
If you've been enjoying French melodic black metal, I can't recommend highly enough the album Jehanne by Abduction. Absolutely stellar standout in the genre, only came out a couple years back. Even just check out the first track, Aux Loges Les Dames. Great use of a mixture of harsh and clean vocals and harmonies as well. Great review! Love Vehemence!
I've only listened to part of this new record, and for my first(-ish) time checking Vehemence out, it was pretty solid! Definitely reminds me of Ungfell.
Been big fan of these guys for a while now. Par le sang versé is incredible, but I think Oradlies is better. Don't sleep on their debut Assiégé either. That album is also really good. One of my favorite bands out of France.
The French metal scene is great and underrated. Once I discovered Vehemance and Aorhlac I was quite hooked. Please review Te Ruki, a French Polynesian metal band sung in their native language, great band!
This is my new favorite genre. Passeisme, Obsequiae, Ungfell, etc. This medieval stuff is my jam!!

I know this band is good but the original Vehemence-God Was Created was KILLER!!
This album is good but it doesn't match the perfection of Par le Sang Verse. Dang, it has been playing for months in my car stereo.
