  • It's been over a year since we bought our Alfa Romeo 147 GTA and after many hundreds of hours it's finally finished! In the finale, we look back on how far we've come, what Big Neil has done to the car, and what the future holds for it.

Looks stunning. This engine is an absolute piece of art that belongs to the past. A GTA should always come in red and it perfectly fits with the color of the wheels.
    Great job here. Congrats.

Hi guys. Thanks for showing this Alfa series. It's a lot of effort besides the project in hand itself and the amount of work that has gone into this is outstanding. Neil, you have tremendous skill to take on such a project and come out the other end unscathed.

Looks fantastic inside and out. Cracking job. May be worth trying different geo to give the steering more feel. I've got 2 GTs and one feels really lively and balanced and the other a bit "dead" especially around the centre. It's really odd as reviews Back this up with some testers raving about the fine steering and handling and others saying great grip but uninformative steering. I'm going to take both in and get the geo measured on the good one and see if the measurements can be used on the other. Although the specialist use there own recommended settings, I have seen a number of owners still not impressed with the results. Good luck.

3.2 with 260 bhp is nothing to shout about.alfa romeo guilia 2.0 could easily surpassed it with 276 bhp.old alfa is distinct memories now

Lots of modern cars have more power than the 3.2 gta but you need to remember back in its day it was one of the most powerful hot hatchbacks you could buy. Very impressive for the time.
