Make a short video discussion on what each of you think would have happened if McLaren made the right decision and put both Lando and Oscar on Softs to finish the race:) Thank you and keep up the great content. Cheers!
Please please change the intro, it's way too creepy XD

@t3ss33 lol, it wasn't even me in previous weeks, but it'd been a bit and the other guy hadn't posted yet so I just did the math myself and copied his (excellent) formatting
Seeing Perez above the likes of Yuki and Oscar just seems wrong, but those early performances are floating him for now.
@@OrangePukekobecause he gets a 5 for results like this. For me this is a 2 or 3 performance from Checo. They are rating him way too high
If that safety car had happened 30 seconds sooner/later so many people would be looking like heroes. Piastri would have snatched a podium and George would have looked like a genius for that soft stint.
Oscar Piastri blew me away at Silverstone. I already was convinced that Norris had the talent to fight with the "greats" but sir Oscar Piastri, what the bloody hell was that performance? I can't wait to see more of these two McLaren drivers. They got me more excited over F1 than I've been for a long time.
Hopefully Yuki shows his class alongside Danny. Hopefully Alex Albon gets plenty more points scoring opportunities in the Williams.
Yuki has his moments but "class" is not exactly a word I tend to associate with him

@@mohammadnashitsiddiqui2168 Ok, I'll accept a yellow card at best. 😄
Piastri had to be told to hold station behind Norris. Defs a 10/10.
tbf, the only reason Piastri appeared faster was that he had DRS and Lando Didn't. He was asked to hold station because him overtaking Lando would've resulted in Lando becoming faster, literally reversing the situation.
He did apparently have the nest start of the top 3 but couldn't do anything with it in the end
He was faster when lando was in max’s drs so you’re wrong
@@066kshitizvsingh4he also has less upgrades
Yes he did, that's because he was about to wipe the floor with young Norris....
@MysticCoder McLaren prioritizes the driver in front, not just Lando(see Monza 2021) .Plus in races where Piastri was in ahead of Lando, Lando was put on the experimental strategy. BTW if it weren't for the safety car, with the way the strategies were lining up, Piastri would've more than likely finished above Lando.
Would be great to add a separate team rating for the 2024 season
Just add both cars.
@@soundscape26and how does that include pot stop performance and strategy calls from the team?
@@greschbandicoot8817 It doesn't, was just being pragmatic. 😄 Don't wanna burden the guys too much.
@@greschbandicoot8817if they fuck up their drivers will be lower. Ferrari is a perfect example.
Why? To have a go at the pit crew being 0.3s slower than someone else?
You guys should rate the teams as well, based off of pit stops and strategy… etc.
Is that referred to a team in particular?
@@emanuelecaselli6395 it would be nice to see matty dissect what ferrari did in the race…. I mean no team in particular 😂
Yea, it would be interesting to talk about who has the most solid team this season, since it's obviously not Red Bull. Also which teams are improving the most. Right now I'm really impressed with Williams and McLaren.
THIS!
@spiral_heart8239 yeah redbull have sucked this season lol. Jk
Fully agree with Logy sarg. He has been very impressive the last couple races
I am just worried about loggie bear without devries around to help prop him up now and now that red bull has kind of broken the seal on replacing a rookie after 10 races will merc start pumping up shumacher again because loggie bear's seat is the only seat that makes sense for MS right now or even for next season he isn't bumping anyone else.
@truthteller8730 I think as long as loggie doesn't drop back to P18 or lower constantly this season he will be safe for next year to have a P11 and P13 in a Williams is solid especially with it being the most recent weeks. Now if he went P13 and P11 to start the year and than a bunch of P18s and 19s later in the season he would be worried but JV has been hyping him up alittle in recent weeks and he's also keeping relatively close to albon which helps his cause alot too
He will never make it sorry guys
I think at worst case there are 5 people that could lose/give up their seat depending on how the rest of the year goes. #1 Kmag, he has been shitting the bed the last couple weeks more than we are all used to seeing and expecting. #2 bottas, he just doesn't seem to really care right now with what happens in the race, he could get P17 and act like everything's cool. #3 Alonso, this one is more of the give up, if he feels AM is favoring stroll to much and he has to drag this team in the constructors and he's not getting a solid number 2 driver to help I could see him leaving or retiring if they don't pick up their pace. Last but not least checo, he's had way to many problems in the best car on the grid to have 4 podiums in 10 races while max has yet to be any worse than P2 all year.everyoen else I feel is relatively save enough to start next year
@@MrLoe0 make what?
If Lewis is getting a 7, I'm giving checo a 4, because he also benefitted from the SC and was really getting nowhere before that
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Perez pit before safety car? Sure he profited from the field coming together but he didnt benefit as much as he could have.
I am not impressed by Perez simply because it took him ages to plough through the field, but his overtake against Sainz was beautiful to watch. Taking into account his partially bad luck in qualifying, I think a 5 is fair.
Regarding Hamilton, a 7 is more than fair. I found Russell much stronger than Hamilton. Outqualifying him and finding the pace on the softs for 28 laps or so... remarkable. Hamilton purely profited from the safety car and then wasn't even able to overtake Norris who of course drove and fought beautifully.
Imo George should have a 9 and Lewis 8. What the hell is Tommy talking about both 7, but giving albon and sargeant 9 and 8. Smh🥱🤦♂️
Another lucky podium to Lewis
@@AlexSteenOlsen I dont know, I like to rate apart from the final standings (In the end that is the purpose, right? Otherwise just take the final standings). For me Hamilton had a solid but not a particularly remarkable race. The safety car suddenly flushed Lewis on the podium. Albon on the other hand had a good race including a memorable overtake. Maybe a 9 is to high, but an 8 certainly. Same for Sargeant, maybe 8 is abit too high and he should settle for a 7. With Williams in particular, expectations play a role and exceeding expectations is just easier for Williams than it is for Mercedes.
My ratings are of course as subjective as everyone's
@@AlexSteenOlsenon what ground should Lewis deserve anything more than a 7. George was close to a 9 though. I have seen far more impressive drives from him. His Quali was meh, bottled his start and did he even do an on track overtake? Was gifted that third place by the VSC. By his standards that was only barely a 7.
Oscar is scary good keeps improving every race and his only just getting started
He won f3 and f2 in his 1st year. Best prospect since max
But you also forget that if it wasn’t for Oscar pushing Logan off the track in that first F3 year, Logan would have been the champion. Guess y’all forget the little things.
@@maxgodfrey4985 it isnt relevant. He won and was champion. All the greats do what is needed to win. Would you say senna or msc accomplishments don't matter because both of them did far worse things.
@@maxgodfrey4985that’s some fine salt you got there Oscar drs wasn’t even working and still beat Logan
@@maxgodfrey4985and you forgot that it was Oscars first year in F3 compared to Logan's second. Plus, Oscar won 3 consecutive titles in a row, and dominated in his rookie year in f2. He's also far closer to Norris than Logan is to Albon, with Lando being a better driver and having his team more built around him.
Piastri was pretty fantastic all weekend, rookie who should've podiumed if not for the safety car compromising his 3rd place likelihood att. 10/10 drive imo.
Good to see Piastri getting the credit he deserves. Keep up the good work chaps.
Why not do an average at every end of the drivers rating? So you can see progression or downfall of every driver and potentially team. I think this would be a nice addition.

A 5 for Perez seems very generous
Agreed he just isn't making the most of that car he's in one of the most dominant cars in history yet is being out qualified by a hass.
Hoe did stroll get 3 and 4???
@@kaanthedesperate they swapped the Perez stroll grades and looking whether we wouldnt notice
I think Piastri deserves drive of the year as finding so much pace from the upgrades and being able to fight Verstappen at some points is unbelievable, definitely looking far more than a rookie still getting used to F1 cars. 11/10
Piastri was awesome for a rookie but Norris was better.
@@neznamneznam1696in the race? Not in the race. He got unlucky but his pace was epic giving that he missed some of the upgrade part.
@@neznamneznam1696Actually Piastri is pretty much on par with Norris. Piastri and Norris trade places nearly every race. Sometimes Piastri is better, sometimes Norris. For a rookie this is highly impressive, especially because for me Norris is one of the best drivers on the grid. In Silverstone Piastri was just unlucky due to the safety car and for sure would have been on the podium otherwise
Driver of the year based on... 1 race?
@@Tomekkplk Driver of the year based on all the races. He was incredible this years thus far, especially for a rookie
5/10 for Perez is insane, that was a solid 3/10 at best. You got the best damn car and can't make it to Q3 again and again and again?
He also benefitted from the safety car like Lewis did, and he got a 7. Perez a solid 3
I have to agree, dude misses every mark compared to his teammate
@@Roxas-ph3teNo, he didn't
@ua697 He was able to get bunched up to the field thanks to the SC and be on soft tyres. He definitely benefitted. He might have finished p8 otherwise (p10 before the SC)
@@Roxas-ph3te He was P8 before he pitted !
Not only was Piastri on Lando's pace, but he had to be asked not to attack him. Then he did the smart thing by dropping back out of the turbulent air and kept the interval to about 2 seconds. Lando had to use up some of his first stint tyres defending from Max, and I felt Piastri was favourite for P2 if allowed to race for that reason. Also, hardly anyone has talked about to his start because all eyes were on Max and Lando, but if you watch his positioning, he did everything right to gain a position or two, but just narrowly missed out. It reminded me of Hamilton's first ever start in Australia 2007, moving around on the track quickly trying to pick a gap, just with less luck.
Very curious about how the McLarens are going to perform in the coming races! Little point of criticism: it's called Driver Ratings but sometimes the scoring is influenced too much by what the rest of the team is doing, like Ferrari messing up strategy again...
Hungary is gonna be like the Astons in Silverstone, points and kinda it, but the hopes are high in Spa. I think is gonna be interesting to see tho
@@alinhatnean6783ased on their current form, Spa, Suzuka, Qatar and COTA could be very strong tracks for them
Seeing stroll pov, the reaction he had while seeing magnussen dnf was hilarious, he wanted to wait for sc and the team ordered him to box. He knew his race was done and that’s why he probably went all in on gasly in my opinion.
Go check his pov right before magnussen dnf, the hand gestures in despair it was so funny.
If the pace McLaren had at Silverstone is genuine and transfers to other circuits I suspect Lando and Oscar will have a lot more 10s coming. I hope for Lando's sake he is still improving though because based on that performance from Oscar by the end of the year he may well be the quicker of the two. I wouldn't be surprised if Oscar gets a win before Lando does.
Piastri is dialed in, I'm sure it's taking a lot, even though he's cool often times but it can't be easy. I love the focus but I hope he also finds time to decompress so he doesn't burn out
Honestly Perez should have gotten a 1 or 2 this weekend. To go out in q1 in by far the best car and finish 6th because he got lucky with the safety car has honestly been a new low for him unfortunately this season. Hope he can finally bounce back next race
If he even comes back next year
He pitted before the safety car, so he basically lost 10 seconds compared to most of the cars in front of him.
@@ua697 10seconds in a car thats like a second a lap quicker then most other cars.
I like Checo a lot. But... he lacks confidence, he is looking for excuses, underperforms on qualifications, underperforms on races (with that RB, he should easily get through the field).
I don't know... He's way better than this. Definitely wasn't a 5/10 from him. Lower. 3/10 at most.
@@Dyonvdm Only Max can extract that second... but didn't even happen at Silverstone.
Matt is such a die hard ferrari fan he made his face red
Initially, I was like now there is no way Logy Bear is gonna finish P20 this season, given Nyck is unlikely to improve over the rest of the season, and then I realized now we have a 21 person race and the difficulty has just massively ramped up for Logy bear to finish at least P19.
As a Williams fan this is the video I’ve been waiting for all week
You Guys are so nice about perez. Giving the ferrari drivers a 5 without them doing anything wrong so giving perez the same grade, should be a one since its the fifth time
Going to start calling him Oscar Pastry with how sweet that drive was 😤... McLaren officially has one of the best driver pairings now.
I wish Nyck De Vries all the best of luck in finding another seat or at least a reserve role next year but I don't think Mercedes will be keen to have him back given how well Frederik Vesti is doing and how integrated Mick Schumacher is in the Brackley simulator
Tommy, I believe that Sainz didn’t take upon himself to make the decision to switch tires because he wants a contract extension so he has to play nice and let them make the decision
As a MaxVerstappen fan I fully support the first and second place above Max for the McLaren drivers as done by Tommy. They were awesome this weekend. I hope to see more of this from them this season.
Lando 1, max 2 , Oscar 3 would be the correct order imo, but it doesn’t really matter. Lando got the best out of the car, so did max . Oscar could have gotten P3…..
@@justusbeweel1109 But he didn't because of the safety car, if the race was just a few laps longer he would've even gotten Hamilton. Oscar is either the number 1 or 2 for me
Lando 1, Max 2, Piastri 3…I agree with you on Max only because he got a slower start than Lando and didn’t lead for four laps (oh the Humanity!! Max what happened?😂)
Max has set such a high bar I literally have to go for the microscopic stuff to pick him apart ratings-wise.
And the only reason I put Lando above Piastri was Lando held off Lewis in such a nail-biting fashion that I found myself actually pacing, unable to sit down.
Piastri driving like a future WC. McLaren is gonna end up losing one of them (Merc when Ham retires, RBR in place of Checo or when Max gets too bored to stay?) because another team is going to offer the WORLD for one of them…they can’t keep BOTH can they?
now im just waiting for the guy who combines all the scores for this season
Can’t wait to see Ricciardo vs Hulkenburg since those cars seem a bit similar when comparing De Vries and Magnussen
If Ricciardo is back, it will be very close between them like in the Renault days.
I don't think Lewis deserves the same point as alonso, maybe an 8 would be fair. Same for yuki, alpha is just bad and he has consistently beaten his team mate in all the races so maybe a 4 was rough. But again it's your opinion and I love you guys anyway
Could you guys do driver ratings for past races? Like the 2004 french gp
Would be amusing off season/summer content - do a watchalong of a vintage GP and then driver ratings
I think you should give a team rating too. Taking into account car evolution and team strategy. Just a thought.
That would be nice! Ugh... the roasting Ferrari would get for their masterplans™...
Definitely agree! Some drivers are suffering from infinite car issues, bad strategy, or simply slow cars with useless upgrades.
The comparison between the drive rating and the car rating should be very considerable.
Mclaren has the most future-proof driver lineup on the grid. If they can figure out the car development part, they won't have to look back.
Agree, 10 for Piastri!!! Amazing drive from him.
“Would’ve anyone else been able to pass?” . Once again Matt talking about Lewis like he’s a midfield driver, driving for alpha Romeo. Still love you guys, despite the Lewis disrespect and Checo hate every single week. I just can’t miss a second of it. Cheers.
If they aren't going to sell AT and keep it as a sister team how about they start using helping them more. I'm also wondering if DR has had AT sim time and knows something Yuki and Nick haven't been able to extract or if some upgrades are in the works ?? I guess we will see on the weekend if it is actually as bad as it has looked over the last 10 races. Banger of a video as always lads, keep up the great content.
Sargeant has always done well at Silverstone, it’s where his f2 season turned around. I thought this would be where he’d score his first points.
Lando's performance was top tier *chefs kiss* Verstappen admitted after the race he was one lap from tires over heating and backing off, Lando was begging his strategists to wait for a safety car or rain because his tires were doing great. Absolutely top tier performance and I'm excited for Hungary to see a better fight now that Lando and Oskar know they can compete with Redbull.
Max may very well have been speaking…generously regarding his mate Lando.
And he’s not going to give up RBR’s secrets. He was pulling away before the late safety car by over half a SECOND per lap.
His overtaking of Lando was utterly inevitable. If he was going to back off at all it was only going to be for a moment.
I hope that you add all these up for each driver at the end of the season
Would be good to have a Team rating too as sometimes where a driver ends is down to a team decision and not the driver
They are doing a team rate anyway
They dont rate the driver they rate the car
How is stroll getting 3 and 4, perez 5
Wtf??
Comments for the algorithm!!! Thank you for the contents! Always love it!!
Here for when Mclaren finish no better than 8th in Hungary and everyone then flips and changes their mind again on McLaren saying that their Silverstone pace was a flash in the pan, only for them to turn around and boss Spa.
I think they'll be around P5 or P6 in Hungary, battling with the Mercs but behind Red Bull Aston Martin and Ferrari.
1) Max
2) Ferrari 1
3) Alonso
4) Ferrari 2
5) Perez
And between P6 to P8 is a battle between Mercedes, McLaren and Stroll. Maybe they'll finish higher if one of the Ferrari drivers or Perez has a bad weekend. Spa will be another superb weekend for McLaren though (assuming nothing goes wrong).
I notice you rate the drivers every video in the same order. Is it not an Idea to score the drivers in finishing order? :)
Might make easier to talk about the team and driver vs driver?
Gotta love the black and white filter over De Vries’s slide. Should’ve added some red in there for a “wasted” screen vibe
They’re saving that for Leclerc’s championship hopes/potential this year. 😂
Checo's slide should be a BSOD.
Great episode as always gents. Keep it up!!

14:50 Not only Russel, but even Nyck de Vries did an pretty good long stind on Softs with that Thrashcan AT.
Oscar still had the old front wing, but got the upgrades that Lando got the previous race.
Just wondering if you boys have considered adding to this segment? It would be awesome to see your rankings for the teams as a whole too! It would be interesting to differentiate between the teams and the drivers. Love the vids! Best in F1!
Lando this weekend was very similar to george at Australia. Hell of a perfomance, would love to see those 2 in a championship battle

Hey @mattp1tommy, I am always wondering what do you base your grades on? Like, ok that alpine should be 9th to 12th so 9th is 6 points 12th is 4, and then going higher or lower ? Or just giving points on feeling ?
They are dumb man
They dont rate the drivers too only the cars.
How is stroll a 4 and perez a 5
They literally fucked up and was horrendous. I'd give them 1-2 or smth and they deserve only that
19:34 considering how well tommy's predictions are usually going piastri is about to become Nico Hulkenberg 2.0
I usually refused to give a 10 rating when a driver cant beat his teamate, so I imagined a loophole to allow Oscar to receive a 10. He get's leeway cause he doesnt have the new front wing that Lando was running therefore it can be excused that he got beat. Im convinced Oscar is a future race winning F1 driver for sure after Silverstone performance and a benchmark driver.
everyone on about how lucky Lewis was, but they seem to forget how quickly Lewis catching Russell and Sainz just before their pitstops, he was at least .5 seconds quicker and will stay out a lot longer, if it wasn't for the safety car, Lewis will have 15-20 laps with his super soft compare to the rest (with the exception of Lando and Max) with their much older hard/ medium, it is a shame we didn't see that.
It is great news to have a fast talented Australian on the grid! oh and i think Danny Ric is coming back?
This has never happened but I’m 100% with you on the driver ratings this time. I think you nailed them, and even as a redbull fan, it’s hard to rank max because it’s like do you not give him a 10 because he’s always 1st, or do you always give him a 10 because he’s always 1st. I’m honestly considering he’s been replaced with AI robot by his cats, they want him winning all the time so they will always have food.
"Fortunate" lol. When Russell was getting these safety car lucks left right and center, no one said "fortunate", but instead words like "beat" were used. Interesting
what was with the mono applause SFX in the left channel only?
Rookie weekend of the year so far!!! Lets see these young guns tear some shit up!!
Nyck won't even get a chance to race at his home gp. It must hurt like hell
Hamilton gambled for a safety car and got a safety car. That isn't just luck. That's experience and making hard choices to try and gain places. If Williams did that strategy you guys would be giving a better rating. I'm not even a Lewis Hamilton fan but I think he deserves an 9/10 for pushing his Mercedes into 3rd place.
Facts.
And how is perez 5 and stroll 4???
😂
Great race. I did find it interesting that the redbull wasn't top at the end of Q1 and Q2 when DRS was not enabled. Goes to show the power of the DRS on the red bull
I really don’t think they were trying to be honest. Instead of ‘they’ I mean Max, sorry 😅
Just trying to get through and keep the tyres fresh.

@@caro2501 sorry my bad!
As a mclaren/lando fan, that was the most exciting and stressful race I’ve watched in 2 seasons! I’ve been shouting it from the rooftops! Give him a car and watch him go! 10/10 for a mclaren fan
This is the earliest I've ever been to any video 😂
Same rating for George and Lewis was a smackhead move. George was just faster this weekend and got screwed.
Bro Matt took a massive longshot by saying De Vries was gonna lose his seat to Daniel and he turned out to be right. Now he's saying Daniel is scoring points in Hungary...
I don't know if I agree or disagree with the Sainz rating, but what I will say is that, Sainz decided not to pit because he would have lost places doing so and looking at the pace of that Ferrari, he probably would not have been able to overtake since everyone around him were also on softs. So I think the decision to stay out, gain positions and try to defend made sense. If it didn't workout he'll finish around the same position as he would have if he stopped anyways (assuming they can't overtake)
Oscar was unlucky with the safety car, but Checo benefited ? (Both drivers pitted before the safety car)
Did you guys know that Max can finish all remaining races incl. Sprints in 2nd place and gets 2 fastest laps he will be champion by 1 point.
And Checo must win everything and pick up all fastest laps to win from Max.
Yup the season is truly wrapped up.
Checo needs to get into Q3. He doesn’t look like he’ll finish ahead of Max without a Max DNF
did i see an explorer on the wall? nice!
Verstappen stands at 255 points after 10 races with an average 25.5 points each race. He’s averaging more than a race win
That’s madness. Max is inevitable. It’s not just the car. He’s just…grown up. He’s like Godzilla now.
I do wish lando would of fought max just a little bit just to see that battle but I understand lando not wanting to damage tires and deplete battery that early in the race.
Lando leading the first 5 laps was amazing 👏🏾
James Vowels basically saved Williams he’s helping improving the team quite a bit since he became TP
How do you feel having to grade Danny Ric next week?
Welcome back. Love from Texas
Who’s winning Monza from third place after 2nd tangles with Max at turn 1? Lando or Oscar? (I’m not falling into the trap at all 😅)
Do A team rating like driver ratings
I am now wondering if you guys gave a lesser rating if a driver benefitted from a safety car in your previous ratings!
I personally think that Sergio should get a 4 or even 3 for this kind of performance. I never considered him a real threat to Max, though i still believed he is solid enough to pick off some wins and then get a lot of second places in top car.
Not getting into Q2 is beyond awful result without any technical issue. Cutting through the field in the fastest car and finishing only 6th is definitely below average performance in my book.
Always wished him the best but if he stays at level he was those few last races I won't feel bad if he gets switched out in old Red Bull fashion.
How can perez get a 5
How can stroll get 3 and 4
They rate the cars not the drivers.
What bothers me is that every race he is making excuses and blaming other people, never taking accountability and saying ‘I need to do better’.
I expected more honestly
@@kaanthedesperateboth should get a 1
@P1 with Matt & Tommy Can we get a drivers rating running total during these videos?
I'm sure they mentioned doing a mid year review during the summer ☀️ break
Hulkernberg looking like Homelander 3:55
Logan would've been 13 without the Gasly/Stroll contact. He was good but not great
I can't wait for Williams to have two cars in the points. 😂
Is that a demon behind Matt at 14:24?😂😂
Or he's being haunted by the ghost of Leclerc's winning drives 😂😂
Actually I think both Lando and Oscar both possibly have just a little bit more than either Charles or George, they have had a tougher route than Charles certainly and Lando makes fewer mistakes under pressure than either, with Oscar not far behind. Now if McLaren can learn how to consistently build a race winning car that suits their drivers they might just be able to hang on to them
I would argue that Charles has the toughest route in Ferrari, haha. The team is shit, especially when it comes to communication and strategy
@@yourDecisi0n It always has been and requires the toughest driver to overcome that, Lauda and Schumacher being the obvious examples. When Charles started there, the car was good and could win, and he had a mellowed and friendly Vettel to learn from. ironic that the team's most successful period came with A German driver, a French team principal, A british technical director and a South African designer, a team put together by Luca Di Montezemolo, who is probably the president Ferrari needs right now. Even with it chaos, though it has beej better than McLaren for most of the last decade.
@@rupertmiller4718 Yes that's true, only Ferrari destroys their own potential at races where they could get good points. This will most definitely rob the drivers of their confidence long term and that's already what you see at the moment. Ferrari is no place to be for a driver at this current state
@@rupertmiller4718 Don't compare current Ferrari to 2000s and the 1970s Ferrari. Completely different teams mate
So I have a question: when the aston martin is washed at a circuit and alonso does decent enough and benefits from the safety car, he gets a 7/8 and on the other hand lewis getting a podium from 9th on the grid at the start in a car that wasn't was, in your own words, not that great gets a 7? Bleh, come on, that's not fair is it? Not to mention checo gets a 5 after being out in Q1?
They have a clear bias buddy. Their hate for Lewis is evident. Safety car scenario is for everyone but they act like it is only Lewis who is allowed to drive at full speed during safety car. If he outsmarts others with stratergy that's not considered. I can guarantee if it was Alonso in his place they would have rated 9 or 10.
Red Bull got Daniel to do some test driving in the Red Bull, which is telling. The Alpha Tauri spot is to warm him up for a Red Bull seat in 2024, unless Checo improves vastly.
This is a happy comment and all your opinions are on point. Happy happy times, baaaaiiiiiiiiiii!
Y'all need to write what you rate the drivers before saying anything, you guys always agree on the same rating
You guys mixed the pictures for VB and Zhou.
Is Tommy a Leeds fan wearing The Square Ball merch?
If so, good lad!
I don't know if "wiping the field" applies this race. The gap was 9 seconds before the SC, usually it would be a 20 second lead, and after the SC it was 3.7 seconds. The RB19 was still the fastest, but not the dominant, impecable car it has been during the season.
would've been more than 9sec had Verstappen got a start comparable to the mclarens and not been held up. RB19 was still dominant
@@executeabi8220 It didn't, so would haves don't apply
@@FromTheDeck exactly so car was dominant, just verstappens start was sub-par. Slow start -> held up behind lando -> defending against Oscar = losing time. Also stuck in dirty air means overheating the tires so lost more time there
