Well considering 90% of the Bjork remixes are garbage IMO this is a GREAT mix.

Most remix musicians think "more beats more noise, more power" when they remix a song. But in the case of Björk many songs here in this compilation have been destroyed with that style. A good example of remixing and spicing her songs without damaging them is the album "Telegram". The first song here is from that album. "All is full of love" has been destroyed, in my opinion. Too overloaded, too full. Anyway, if I was a music journalist or something similar I would suggest a tri-part division: 80-99% similarity with the original song = coverversion. 40-79% similarity = remix version. 1-39% similarity = interpretation. I give some good examples for each of the 3 ways:
*Coverversion* : Sophie Ellis-Bextor "True faith" (Original: New Order) , David Lee Roth "Just a gigolo" (Original: Louis Prima)
*Remixversion* : Björk "I Miss You" Dobie Rub Part One Sunshine Mix, Ulrich Schnauss Remix of Asobi Seksu "Strawberries", Paul Oakenfold Perfecto Remix of Madonna "What it feels like for a girl (offical video version)"
*Interpretation* : Radi Mate Mix By Mouse On Mars version of Anne Clark "Letter of thanks to a friend", Robin Guthrie version of Ulrich Schnauss "On my own", Lemon's Chair version of My Bloody Vanlentine "To here knows when"

I just got all these years ago, without much thought really, then stuck em together. I keep saying I'll do a 'proper' mix of this, but it's hard work collecting all the tracks again!
doing remixes is not easy, you have to keep at least something from original, yet you have to do it in your own, hopefully recognizable, style. Although Aphex Twin remixes do not contain even 1% of the original :)

Ah ok. I've been searching the web for Bjork vocals only and it doesnt seem like they exist. Many people have tried to isolate but you can still hear the music :(
