Hey there, my name is Austin and I work at a public aquarium. I am the husbandry for the fresh water side of the aquarium and we have 5 locations around the USA. I am very interested in a large amount of these fish, we have multiple 10,000 - 15,000 gallon tanks that I’m looking to fill up. So if you could get in contact with me I would appreciate it.

Just a suggestion, I’d like to see a walkthrough of the filtration system? It’s so much to keep up with. The native species like the gar can live out long lives in their native lakes? I’m in north GA and our lakes are full of them with no predators or fishing pressure. In FL their waterways are slammed with non natives ! Crazy how many Oscars are there now.

My favourote fish in the whole place for me is the jardini as its closes one to asian arrowana and love the green colour and we dont really see them here in the uk or at least my area

Okay have a thought for you. Predatory Fins and Brian’s Reptarium need’s fish. The one you can donate to the other one you can sell to. The one can help you financially and with the babies you got from the stingrays. And the fact that they are planning on getting back to breeding them would be a awesome gesture

Isn't that the entire point of OFR? The goal shouldn't be to keep them all indefinitely.
They are hobbyists with their own fish as well as rescuers.
And they know the fish are good with them
Whole point of there goal is to do whatever they want its there rescue. If you watch them long enough youd know they Know what there.doin by now and always give fish proper care. There not perfect but they also dont have unlimited funds unlike paul caffaros who spend thousands on there fish and dont even come close to care ofr does for the fish
It is rescue like any other rescue. They take fish in to try and rehome. Just like dog rescues or cat rescues. They are not meant to keep the fish forever.
I Would Love to Adopt some of those Frontosa Cichlids are they up for Adoption also?? I would Drive from Mississippi to Your Location for some of those Babies?????

Just wanted to make sure my giant gourami isn't adopted out. He is a grey elephant ear gourami. Last I knew he was in the fish bone tank. I was told he was moved to the pacu tank this morning. Just wanted to check and make sure he doesn't get adopted out. Love that fish he's all I have left from my old house. Thanks @ohiofishrescue
Kinda weird to ask this from a rescue organization, you gave them your fish so they can basically decide what they do with it since you didn’t have the space for it
