I was obsessed with this documentary.. recorded it off tv in the 90s and re watched it countless times on VHS 😢
I worked 4 seasons (between 1999 until 2004, including my first season) at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and this is exactly what it is like, to work at theme parks. I miss it so much
Very deep behind the scenes. Love all the Oblivion stuff and how genuinely excited everyone was. That is the magic. Rushing to the gates and the giddy excitement amongst everyone

Crazy amount of adverts, ruined a great video for just short of 50 minutes of fottage there was around 30 adverts, CZcams has ruined it for viewers and content creators
This is why, nowadays, I only ever watch CZcams on my PC with an ad blocker. It's just painful to try to use it any other way.

I waited for about 2hrs and a half to have 1 go on the smiler 🥴
If you don’t want to wait 2 and a half hours. Then don’t get in a 2 and a half hour queue.
@@fwutig1121 it said 1 hour but 2 mechanical issues added a long time to it oh and we got to the smiler queue when the park opened
