@EDoubleO [edit: adding more artists] I am going through my entire library and found some Ghetto Boys, Too Short, and of course, all the 80s freestyle stuff we danced to at College Nights at the clubs (when we weren’t quite graduated yet. 😏) Trinere, Cynthia, Linear, Debbie Deb! *dancing* When I hear music it makes me dance, You’ve got the music, here’s my chance. Holy crap 💡 Klymaxx “Meeting in the ladies’ room” and “The Men All Pause,” except now I sing it as “the men-o-pause.” 😉 Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Shannon, George Lamond, Johnny O, Stevie B, Lisette Melendez, Nocera, Nu Shooz, TKA.
Anyone out there remember or even worked at Tower Records and owe their music repertoire to it? I sure do. Let’s all travel back in time and take the twins and Dom with us so they can live the music, too! Someone mentioned roller rinks... so much YAAASSSS for that! Ooo ooo Sir Mix-A-Lot “Posse On Broadway”!

"Doggystyle" leaned a lot harder into the upbeat funky side of the samples Dre used. "The Chronic" uses a lot of the same tunes, but puts a harder edge on 'em. For what it's worth, the original song this samples, Leon Haywood's "I Want'a Do Something Freaky to You," is also fantastic.
