NEW Throwing Styles in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk DLC

- The Indigo Disk has added brand new features to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, including some nice throwing animations you can use for your character. This is but one of the many features they added and you will need BP to Contribute to the Baseball Club with Mitch. To Change your style, you need 10 BP and then go to "Want to change your throwing style?" and pick whichever one you like or fit the most. Hope you guys enjoy and have a great day. Ya could have used a smaller pokemon so the model in battle wasn't hidden.
Yeah, unfortunately it only clicked in after I uploaded this. But hopefully someone else can do it and possibly showcase it better. For this, I decided to show both the throws in battle and when you change your style.
Smug throw is the ONLY one to use against Kieran. Especially when sending out Ogrepon.
Wish I found out about this before slamming him with a bulk up ×6 annihilape
The smug one seems like rubbing a little too much salt into the wound against Kieran, unless he has unique dialogue for it?

Nice to see throwing styles return. I remember liking them in Sun. I hope in gen 10 this becomes a standard that you can set in the beginning of the game along with the regular character customization. It really adds to whatever personality you want to give your MC.
At this point i would of liked if they actually let us swapped pokeballs & introduce a new more limited custom animation for deploying pokemon to avoid the usual swearing shenigans, since that atleast gave a bit more personality to player vs player matches when they really upped the sassy factor with some pokemon when sent out got a little extra sauce to thar arrival.

Ninja, smug, and galarian may be my favorite throws. It's cool seeing throw styles return since gen 7.

The Ninja throw is the best one to be but I didn't expect Galarian Throw allow in. It gets a callback to the previous Pokemon game.

I like twirling, dainty, and reverent.
Elegant throw reminds me of how the protagonist from XD Gale of Darkness throws so I went with that, also kinda wish they added the volo throw
Spin throw is mine because it reminds me of Wes from Colosseum.
I'm sad they don't have Girlish Style, that was the one I used in Sun and Moon :(

seriously. one left handed throw and a lot of right handed throws. being left handed isn't a style. every throw style should have right and left handed versions and that should be a free setting from the start

If I may be honest, I am not sure. The animations feels off and I don't do online battles but they should work. I know they do not work in Tera Raids for some reason considering how everyone sends out their Pokémon.

I am Glad Gamefreak brought back Throw Styles. I just hope later they did what they did with the full Trainer Hair and Face Customization, and have the options unlocked at the start.

Kinda wish it was your PC's stance as a whole that changed. Sometimes the cut is so brief that you hardly get to see the animation. I'd love for my pc to look more smug generally.

Yeah, rather than elegant, it feels and looks more like a sporty/athletic throw. Not a full on baseball pitcher throw, but pretty close, lol.

What type e of throw Ash uses? Does it include his type of throw.
Within these, I believe either Dainty or Elegant throws come the nearest to resembling Ash's throws.
Are there styles for Tera Orb throw?
Getting the styles in Generation 7 is much better.

Quaquaval wasn’t really a good choice for this, its tail blocks the throw animation

If you change the speed to .25 you see the ball instantly switch to how it would be if it was normal throw and people say the dlc is good smh

As of right now, given that this feature is new and just came out, you need the DLC to even change your throw style. I don't think they are base game sadly which should have been its own thing.

Just started the DLC and was wondering cuz it looked the coolest of the bunch
@@Dumbasspolice Progress through the story a bit. After attending the class in the Coastal Biome, and them explaining how BP works you should receive a call from Carmine in which you go the center and you meet Drayton for the first time. He shows you the League Club and you use the BP on the computer to contribute points to other clubs, the Baseball club has the throwing styles but you need to collect BP as well to get more. Hope this helps

How do i change it ?
I put it in the description but to change it, you need to Contribute 10 BP with the Baseball Club to change your throw style and it will allow you to choose what styles you currently got. Hope this helps.

Yep. Galarian Star Style from Pokemon Sword and Shield, Champion Leon's throw.
I love and hate how lazy they were with the elegance style. You can easily see how the ball teleports a foot up so it follows the same arch as every single other throw
How can I change ?
In the dlc you go to that computer in the club room and choose the infinite option on throws, donate 10 points, and change throws. Of course you gotta buy the throws with points first to unlock em.

I've noticed some people say this so this is what I can say. I get that my starter is blocking some of the view for some of the throws, hence why I showed the previewed version before battle. At the same time, you aren't missing too much but if I ever make a video similar to this, I already took note of using a smaller Pokemon for next time.
Us lefties get no love at all...just a near mirror of the standard. It'd be nice to have left handed version of all the styles.
