Can we all give props to granite hills coaches staff preparing these young men I was sure Carlsbad was going to smash them good hard fight physical game
That ending with the benches clearing and fans rushing the field was incredible! Nothing like Friday Night Lights!
What a game!!!! Almost as thrilling as the granite hills vs helix. Granite always seems to have these super close down to the wire games but they always find a way to succeed in the end😂🔥 congrats to both sides they did amazing and good luck to granite at snapdragon very deserving and hard working team 💪🔥
I was at this game Thursday and it was one of the best I've seen and then of course yesterday with Lincoln and Helix. Granite Hills becoming the first Division 2 champion to reach the Open Division Championship a year after being in Division 2 and winning it there plus the state championship last year and 20 straight wins.
Granite Hills did win State last year - Don't forget this was a 1-9 organization 11 years ago when Cobbs took over
1:36 min mark wow, down hill running.
bro got trucked into the afterlife 🤣
Poor little east county GHS beating the rich kids from C-BAD!!! Great job by a great group of kids!!!
we're not some biships or cathedral, we are still a public school at the end of the day🤡🤡
Granite Hills is a pretty affluent area too lol.
Well coached team on granite side, they definitely deserved this! Great work! Also one of the better group of O-Line and D-Line I’ve seen
Man I love San Diego high school ball
😳😳😳😳 Granite beat CARLSBAD??!! WHATTTT???!! thats wild...
wit a mf trick play
Granite hills was the d2 cif champions last year. They beat Ramona.
@@Bigdan678they should have been d1 for a while. They have like 3 freshman teams.
@@mrv2308 yeah. I’ll be surprised if the don’t win d1 championship this year
Granite beat Helix two years in a row and now Carlsbad. Wow
The speed of #30 and physicality of number 1 is no joke that’s why they ended up with the slight edge in this shootout but julian sayin is for sure a good d1 qb good season by Carlsbad
1:36 11:57
Losing on a jet sweep with one lineman lined up is crazy😭😭😭😭😭
What an absolutely amazing game. Granite Hills should be so proud. Carlsbad looked unstoppable.
#30 and #1 on granite are dogs💪🔥
Granite Hills OC has a NFL playbook the kids are well coached disciplined great team. Its going to be a close game against Lincoln.
Granite wasn’t the most graceful winners, me speaking as a granite fan. Let me just add that Carlsbad fans bought a 4th of our tickets AND sat on our side. On top of that, the parents and students talked hot “stuff” ALL WEEK. A coach posted “35-0”, disrespectful, the parents were cussing at our boys and some of the football players were taunting and provoking our crowd and team. It’s a game and it should’ve been fun, but the competitive spirit got the best of both sides. So “their team is ridiculous”, yes we were a little over the top, but you’re right ridiculous nonetheless, ridiculously good 😊. And as for the parent who asked me where granite was from in a cocky “never heard of them” tone, I bet you know now 😉! East county stand up! EAGLES ALL DAY
As an ECV alumn I can't help but root for GH. What an amazing story they have been the past couple years.
I will also say this though, the staff working our side was AMAZING and when I say some football boys, I meant like a handful, most of the boys were respectful. Amazing team and helluva fight, hats off to you Carlsbad
wow
Why do your High School O- Linemen and D-Linemen play with out knee protections???
Your Athletic Director doesnt care??
They wear those to support their knees it doesn't mean coaches don't care but actually coaches suggest oline & dline to wear it cuase both those positions use knees alot.
Hey dipstick....nobody wears them any more. In college or pros cuz they found out it causes more injuries than not.....welcome to the 21st century
