Fan of neither but rooted for the underdog. Belleville seemed pretty entitled in the first quarter where Southfield just put their heads down and played hard. Congratulations and fine job to the guys on Southfield.
For the #1 QB in the country, Underwood is unimpressive, especially against lesser talent compared to SEC and California players. Physically, he looks the part, but the Southfield QB had more heart than him. I’m no Mel Kiper but this kid seems all hype no substance.
The Belleville QB is the #1 recruit in the nation?? Hope he uses his scholarship for something other than football. If not, he will be pumping gas back in Detroit like so many other MI highschool stars who could never compete against southern or west coast players. Sad.
