I love how Chip and Jo still play together and laugh together. It helps keep marriages young. I think a lot of people forget that everyone has dirty laundry, everyone has a bad side, everyone has morning breath. And to see a couple who accept that about each other and respect each other, that laugh even through the rough spots is so refreshing.

I'm french (sorry for my mistakes) and before i find them, i thought American designers were incapable or had bad taste in design. Now i watch every video and i dream that one day, Chip and Jo will design my home. I really love what they do.

II just love to see these American house renovation shows.At first I watched the shows in the hope to find any home with real walls instead of paper thin wooden sheets you can literally walk through! I wonder about the lack of privacy? I marvel at the love for poured concrete on porches, and driveways. The tremendous difference in building style compared to Europe just fascinates me. Now, i place bets before the renovation starts weather the designer will put bathroom tiles on the fire place or just would use a lick of white paint to freshen it up, or maybe both? In the kitchen of course he or she chooses subway tiles and shaker cabinets in any size and form.
So little imagination and finesse.
And then there is Joanne and Chip! Praise the lord, they bring American innovation even elegance and originality into their home renovations. well done. I miss Fixer Upper and there are only so many reruns of Home town and Rehab Addict I can handle! So I cannot wait for your new show to start! Make it soon please!

OK, but I’ve seen basketball courts and volleyball courts before. Would have liked to see more of the house. OTOH, with all that shiplap EVERYWHERE, maybe not....

because he lnows his wife well enough and when a couple know each other really well. you dont have to go through all with your wife it has nothing to do with no disrespevt.🙊. if you have go through evrything with a partner its atrust issue.
As long as that goes both ways... it’s probably something that works for them but not necessarily everyone... I guess if you have an endless supply of money it wouldn’t be a problem
