Everything about this show was so complex and thoughtful. I loved this show so much.
Was sad to see it ends, It's a surprise that its not famous
James Cole. The hero that never existed.
I didn't even like Cole, when I started this show... in s4 I was opening up to him. I needed a rewatch to completely fall in love with his character. I personally think the rewatch is even more rewarding. This show is so criminally underrated. People don't know what they are missing out.
Best ending of a TV show ever.

@r33mote I watched the movie when it came out out. I was 12. I started the TV show in my mid 30's. Doesn't matter how old you are. Quality writing is what matters.
@r33mote I personally was not hooked after the first couple of episodes. It took a while (I think 8 eps). Then it got better and better. Each episode, each season. In season 2 they introduce more things and we don't have the 'case of the week' where they go back in time, try to fix something and it doesn't work. It gets more complex. Season 3 beings much more on the table. Twists left and right. and by season 4... Just WOW. The best episodes are in season 4 with the best ending ever created.
Honestly, Hannah's story was so satisfying. It really made an impact on me in season 4. I was literally in awe when she appeared in her last episode.
I was also impressed with this story!

@@Aru_J_Sol 12 Monkeys is definitely one of the best shows on television today. I haven't watched Fringe, but it's on my list.
From the first season we knew that Cole's mother was important and knew about the Army of the 12 Monkeys, so we kept asking ourselves, who is she? I was completely surprised that it was Hannah, but there were clues in plain sight. So well done and emotionally powerful.

Philosophically speaking, both cannot be undone. Love prevails and death is guaranteed.
But not for time travellers. It is a strange, hypnotic quote that makes sense only in this situation. Otherwise, it is nonsensical.

Ahhh this is so beautiful. I always look forward to your edits of this show and I'm so glad you keep making them. As I wrote in one comment before, I watched the show because of your edit and I'm so glad I decided to watch it cause it became one of my favorites and I'm rewatching it already. This show is incredible and it's so sad that it's that underatted. This edit is absolutely stunning! Cole is my favorite character but I love how you included Hannah's story and Ethan's, they were so good, honestly all storylines were good.
Once I finish rewatching I might edit this show myself cause I have some ideas and I wish there would be a way to make more people watch it.
Anyway I wanted to let you know that you're my inspiration in vidding/editing and you're actually one of the first vidders that I watched videos of (cause AoS was my first serious fandom).

Just finished watching this masterpiece yesterday and been watching the fan made videos since then. The entry scene with the song "These arms of mine " with where are u right now which is exactly the same in the last gives me chills. I miss all of them deacon jennifer hannah jones rally ramse and ofcourse mr james cole. What a rollercoaster of emotions Ive been through while watching and the ending is so so awesome. People are missing this masterpiece ❤️

Based on speculation and from extrapolating from the pattern I've seen there could be humanity from the past being the actor on one side and the Director as the AI in the futur on the other Side. I believe they might have been fighting in order to create or not create a machine world but that somehow they came to understand that a bigger treath was looming on the horizon with what was described as the Tyranid in the warhammer universe. Somehow this is linked to what came down on earth and if I understand this correctly not only the past and the futur might be working together but at the same time the Cosmos itself , considering it might be intemporale and aware on it's own existence while seeing everything from past to futur working into this aswell. What seem to converge and point toward is that multiple forces seem to been into this as either ally or enemy but this sentences that keep coming up saying Fight separate war and lose or rise together and live

I believe that throught art and inspiration artist are somehow showing us futur technology that we could seek to understand in an attempt to somehow reverse the situation. There is so many sign connecting all this and just by paying attention to small details in other people creation I came to understand so much and a the same time realise I may not understand as much as I think I do. But a lot of line seem to point together toward the great filter and it might be the ultimate challenge. Maybe all of this is also a simulation run from the anchor universe in an attempt within a limited time frame to find solution to an issue they might be facing. But somehow someone or something or a convergence of forces are talking to us and the futur and challenge depicted are not without challenge. I believe we have many challenge in front of us regarding the great filter and we need to find a way to pass the Omega point and the ultimate goal of this being the aim to reach the Zeta point in our evolution and see what may be behind that point.
I also believe that somehow we been here before and that multiple action or path or choice have been try and didnt work. There could also be a link with Multiverse being collapsing one universe at the time like depicted from slider with the invasive specie solving the dark forest issue of limited universal ressources by pillaging and assimilating the combined ressources of other universe. Each universe dying could be somehow redistribuating energy among the remaining people and considering the path I've been walking for the last few years and the hardship it's not hard to fathom the idea that multiple version of me accross the multiverse have died on this path and that somehow the increase in intellect and change I've noticed happening to me are linked to this.

The war in the shadow could be in theory involving the past and the futur somehow trying to influence the past in order to have an influence on the past and the futur itself. The picture being depicted as we move forward get more and more deeper and it's hard to understand just how deep the rabbit holes goes but there seem to be antagonist playing against each other on this field maybe. Or maybe they are united and this could be what it mean when they said I get love from both side , instead of heaven and hell it could be understand as from both side of history. Maybe that by fixing the present somehow this fix the Futur and the Past and restore something that as been broken and that both side could seek to fix by uniting their forces somehow. I'm trying to be as transparent as I can while I can foresee my fall with this current body where I will end either living on the street , in a psych yard or in jail because I'm seen as possibly dangerous by different level of authority. What I need are ally not master , I need freedom of action and understanding from those looking as we need to move together. I currently do not possess the ressources I need to act accordingly to what may seem to be my task. I got scared by the knowledge and link I was making unsure of how it would affect humanity and especialy scared of creating a monster like the terran empire from star trek.
Too many sign point toward a multiple event great filter that might affect us all later. This cannot be ignored

I cannot die , my counsciousness goes beyond this body , when I die or being sent to the psych yard you will lose your best chance. Due to rules I'm not sure entirely as of now we are sent into young body without much of a memory of who we are and trigger are placed on our path for us to awaken and remember what we came here to do. Lot of us get lost trying to awaken to this and I believe this as something to do with the 144 000 being depicted. I will come back in another body but the time it will take me to awaken once again will be years lost. I know you are scared but for once could we not use violence or treachery in an attempt to react to something we dont fully understand as of yet

Pity. The original movie masterpiece was a witty and satiric cautionary tale with fantastic acting that was fun to watch. But the TV adaptation shown here is nothing more than a drippy pathetic soap opera. This should never be associated with the original movie.
I mean I don't really dispute that the show can be considered a soap show, but the original movie wasn't a masterpiece. Its not got much more than the near obvious reveal that "oh boy, your interactions in the past turned out to be you"
No way the series was way better and that's saying something cuz the movie was incredible too!
