12 monkeys is one of those shows that needs to be watched at least twice. There's so many little hints to upcoming storylines. In season 1 when Jennifer is going up the stairs to see Olivia when being told to be a daughter, she utters "climb the steps, ring the bell" which at that point means absolutely nothing but only when rewatching it do you notice it.
That's so true. I noticed so much "nonsense" from Jennifer's much after I researched it. She was making sense all along. IF YOU GIVE ME YELLOW, I COULD PAINT YOU THE WORLD.

@@yvonnesirima8495 I noticed that when Jennifer speaks, she is generally either foreshadowing or giving silly pop culture references. And so many hints at big reveals, such as the phrases "you little sh*t" or "I'm not your soldier" and who says it. It's just amazing. I have no idea how they wrote the series, everything just connects, and I've watched it over a dozen times.
In the night room tall man says,' Snake eating its own tail.'
Also when talking to cole about cassie, something along the lines, being single isn’t the end of the world, but you two together is ! Which if you’ve seen s4 ya get the meaning

The way they sold the idea of Red forest was so beautiful. I can't blame Cassie for trying to protect Red forest.

OH YES. 12 MONKEYS??? I STAN SO HARD. And these voiceovers? Perfection. It really captures how bound by time we are, how futile it is to fight time. And that we have to live with the consequences. "Anything we do, even if we undo it? It happened... in God's eyes." This edit shows so perfectly what I love about this show--its constant existential questioning of time and reality and morality. As Emily Dickenson said, "Forever is composed of nows." This video is perfect to show someone to get them to watch 12 Monkeys.

this video was the reason I watched 12 monkeys for the first time two years ago. never stopped loving it since then. I rewatched the show this year (still mad it's so underrated) and I absolutely enjoy rewatching this edit once in a while , too. it just captures everything 12 monkeys is about perfectly. thank you so much for your work! with all my heart, you are my favorite editor.
