For those saying she has self-esteem issues just because she is wearing makeup from the start: have you ever considered the possibillity that she is just showing the difference between her everyday makeup and her stage makeup?
@Aldana Lagois true, specially when we know everybody is at certain point or always insecure about something or themselves in their lives.

I've always feel surprised for all hate to her, just for her apariece, she's beautiful with or without makeup, she's only doing what she like it, neither meaning that she's stay with the same make up that she use on stage all days. Most metal female singers use it too and nobody say nothing, but is Simone and all lose the head (specially I see it more in women). Outside of her work in the band...so much critics toward her person only show one thing: jealousy.
I can't believe she has haters. The only explanation for that would be jeaulosy. She is so beautiful and talented. Her eyes are amazing

Stop spreading hate to her. There's nothing wrong with makeup. She's just a beautiful woman who likes to be pretty in her every day life and for their shows. Besides, artists are like that, they take care of their appearance since they are creative and passionate people. I don't see any insecurity on her.

Hola chicos yo aquí veo muchos comentarios de que le falta autoestima que el maquillaje es caca tóxica y que a las mujeres nos preocupa cómo nos vemos. El mundo del metal es muuuuy exigente con sus apariencias saben?? A pesar de que claman que no les importa lo de afuera son los primeros en juzgar; que si trasher que si black, que si deathcore, que gótico... En fin, si es uno popero hasta lo tachan de vano e insulso. La impresión que das a las personas se lleva adentro, en tu actitud, no en si usas poco, mucho o nada de maquillaje. Tratar bien a las personas, seas quien seas y te guste lo que te guste es lo que te hace ganar respeto, no vestir de negro o claro...

I sometimes get the impression that she's uncomfortable in front of the camera (which I can understand pretty well). It would be nice to see her more relaxed though, as she is on stage :)

Curioso que es una de las vocalistas de metal más hermosas y que más chicas admiran o odian por como luce y es el vídeo de Make-up que menos vistas tiene, definitivamente las chicas la envidian demasiado, y no importa cuánto maquillaje se ponga es hermosa, y con el cuerpo que tiene aún más, les recuerdo que todas las vocalistas de bandas de metal se maquillan, sí son artistas y deben dar la cara al público.

Siempre ha sorprendido el hate que le tiran a ella por su apariencia, bonita es con o sin maquillaje y ella solo hace lo que le gusta, tampoco significa que así como se maquilla para salir a cantar, TODOS, los días de su vida cotidiana vaya igual... muchas cantantes de metal también usan mucho maquillaje y ahí nadie dice nada, pero no sea Simone porque todos saltan (por no decir todas, porque siempre son mujeres las que la critican). Independientemente de su trabajo como cantante...tanta critica hacia su persona solo demuestra algo: celos.

That's called baby hair and it probably started to grown in a place when it wasn't before. It's perfectly natural and normal, have the same thing.

En el caso de Simone, para ella si una mujer no se maquilla, no se siente cómoda, le da vergüenza salir a la calle asi, pero un poco de ojeras es totalmente normal, no es razón para avergonzarse. No digo que este mal, solamente que muchas mujeres le dan demasiada importancia a como se ven, se afligen, se preocupan y creo que exageran, no todas claro pero yo diría que el 60% de las mujeres. Yo creo que es porque la sociedad nos crio asi. Para dar un ejemplo, si un hombre va por la calle en la maňana con ojeras a nadie le importa (ni a el ni a las demás personas) porque el 98% de los hombres no se maquillan las ojeras. En cambio si es una mujer, por un lado otras mujeres la critican y por otro lado a ella siente vergüenza como si no se hubiera lavado los dientes y yo me pregunto... ¿cual es la diferencia entre las ojeras de un hombre y una mujer?

Si uno decide dejar de utilizar maquillaje, otorga mucho más VALOR a la belleza natural. Y es admirable porque ella no es una mujer común, su mensaje es muy significativo. , si no es una posición muy sana, pues se necesita más autoestima para reconocerse bella sin maquillaje, que llevando una gama de colores artificiales. No pienso que sea una IDEA COMERCIAL, porque resulta todo lo contrario; dado que si más artistas femeninas difunden ese potente mensaje, inspiraria a miles de mujeres a dejar sus labiales, coloretes, sombras, correctores, etc etc ...

Para ella es pérdidas para la industria de la belleza en ese rubro ... y ella puede perder más seguidoras amantes del maquillaje.
Debido a que es una estética y esta plasmado en la industria del metal.
Yo personalmente, me he sentido muy identificada con Alicia... si tuviera que contar la infinidad de veces porque no te has maquillado, específicamente Hombres. juzgando algo que es una decisión muy propia y recriminando.
Basta de su máscara, le falta tanta seguridad a Simone para sentirse segura de sí misma,sobre todo se nota cuando esta arriba de un escenari, que tiene que recurrir al maquillaje y a la ropa bonita para llamar la atención. Si preocuparse sobre su afinación e interpretación, lo único que importa para ella es lucir bonita...

Alice CG El maquillaje es también una forma de expresión artística y personal. Se ha utilizado desde hace milenios y no se trata de sólo "enmascarar" ó "esconderse" si no de ser creativa y expresarse, muchos lo hacen por medio de la pintura, el dibujo, la danza, etc y ¿Acaso está mal que haya quienes lo hacen a través del maquillaje?Al menos para mí eso es el maquillaje, una forma de expresarse ¿y por qué no? divertirse también. Forma parte de la identidad cultural de muchas sociedades (Aunque sea sólo pintura facial ó corporal) a lo largo del mundo. Cambiando de tema las mujeres tendemos a ser más vanidosas que los hombres, esto está científicamente corroborado, sé que hay muchas influencias sociales para que esto sea así pero también en mi muuuuuy personal opinión y basada en estudios psicológicos y antropológicos creo que también está en nuestros genes el querer vernos "bonitas" y el preocuparnos por nuestra apariencia física pero hay una diferencia enorme entre cubrir una que otra imperfección con maquillaje y obsesionarse a tal punto en el cual una persona base su valor y autoestima en la forma en la que se ve por que somos más, mucho más que un cuerpo físico pero también por qué lo ideal es amarnos y aceptarnos tal cual somos, creo que está bien sacarnos el mejor partido posible. Comer sanamente, hacer ejercicio y cuidar nuestra apariencia física está bien mientras sea de una manera sana (emocional y psicológicamente hablando) y por auténtico amor propio y auto respeto. Por cierto Simone es muuuuy hermosa y no tiene que ver el hecho de que "desafine" ó ya "no cante como antes" con que use maquillaje ó no. La escuché en vivo y de verdad lo hizo muy bien, ya quisieran muchas cantantes cantar tan bien como lo hace ella y si hay algo que no se puede negar es que Simone TIENE muchísimo talento y una belleza física impresionante.
Yo detesto usar maquillaje realmente estoy orgullosa de no usarlo, masacrar mi rostro con cosméticos no es lo mío y si lo llego a usar cuando es realmente lo necesito, es decir en una puesta en escena y porque sea la orden del productor o director es decir una ópera, teatro musical o alguna presentación que realmente lo requiera, cuando mando mis videos de audición jamás me maquillo sabes, porque me gusta demostrar quién soy en realidad, no vendo mi imagen, vendo quien realmente soy, lo ecléctica que puedo llegar a ser al interpretar a alguien melancólico, enamorado o hasta frustrado, me gusta demostrar lo que valgo y lo digo trabajo en producción musical y prefiero que me respeten por mi conocimiento, mi trabajo y dedicación, para mi es usar una máscara, no entiendo porque le dan tanta importancia, me gusta verme con cara lavada, imperfecciones, ojeras porque soy yo, nadie es perfecto y no aparento ser una mujer bella ni mucho menos perfecta, no quiero agradarle a los hombres, quiero agradarme a mí misma y estoy segura de mi.
Perfecto está bien que uses maquillaje cada quien demuestra cómo cree y aparenta la belleza, hoy en dia simplemente es por encajar, solo es mi opinión, ya que estamos entrando a formatos de videos, donde el HD y 4K demuestran hasta la más mínima imperfección, más bien las imperfecciones es momento de hacerlas perfecciones.
Y sigue así no te arregles para nadie más habló por ti y para ti y el día que alguien te diga porque no te arreglaste espero lo mandes al demonio.
En lo personal esa mujer no tiene talento, ni mucho respeto yo lo digo porque la he conocido y la he visto muchas veces, es la persona más déspota y engreída que me he encontrado en el medio. Espero como conozcas a verdaderas artistas que respetan a su público y dan la vida arriba del escenario.

Alice CG La verdad no conozco a Simone en persona más que en un concierto, me pareció una chica muy seria pero no grosera ni mucho menos, no la conozco y no puedo juzgarla mal, a veces las personas podemos tener un mal día pero siendo una figura pública hay que ser siempre amable con las personas por que esas personas no son responsables de tu mal humor, si te pasó una experiencia así con ella sería interesante saber. Yo he conocido personas que han hablado más con ella y dicen que es medio especial pero en general es amable aunque, muy reservada y no precisamente simpática. Para mí ella es muy talentosa pero definitivamente no es la persona más talentosa del mundo. En el metal honestamente no ocupa un lugar en mi top 10 de cantantes favoritos pero lo que sí amo es su belleza física y la música de Epica. Me agrada tu ideología y que estés feliz con tus ideales, yo uso maquillaje por qué para mí es una forma de expresión artística y me agrada mucho jugar con él, amo usar sombras de colores vibrantes y demás por qué me divierte y me agrada cómo me veo, sólo uso productos veganos y libres de crueldad animal por qué es otro tema de mucha importancia, que los niños (animales) no tengan que sufrir por nuestra vanidad. Yo sí necesito usar maquillaje por que soy vanidosa y bastante insegura, el amor propio debe venir desde adentro y no al revés pero a veces el aceptarse al 100 % es difícil y más por yo que sufrí mucho por tener muy pero muy poca autoestima. Por eso mismo ahora entiendo que el valor de las personas va más allá de la apariencia física que puedan tener.

Well, you are passing judgments too. Based on your comments, you clearly don't know anything about her. And you don't get to speak for anyone else. I'm redhead with snow white skin and I'm bare faced most of the time. I don't need any makeup at all. Simone doesn't like to appear without makeup. She has her reasons. None of anyone's business. I don't even know why her appearance and choices are a preoccupation. Go talk about the guy's faces for once. Leave her alone. She's doing these people a favor. She has a blog. She didn't have do do this and doesn't have to show anything she doesn't want to.
Her makeup is beautiful, I think she just likes doing it dramatic because she will be performing on stage.
It's not about self esteem, makeup is a way of expression, she has all the right to wear all makeup she wants, specially on stage where makeup is a part of her outfit. Take a look at her instagram or her blog, you will eventually see her with lighter makeup colors or even barefaced.
