I would argue that a tongue scraper is completely unnecessary and/or even harmful in some ways. The mouth and tongue have natural bacteria that are good for the mouth, so removing them from the tongue could do more harm than good. Plus the scraper could even bring in bacteria that aren't good for you, unless you're very good at washing it.
We get it, your mouth smells.
Same thing with anticongestant usage. If the nose doesn't need to clear itself, the person will become dependant on those.
