As a trucker, I respect you because I know what goes into it. You make it look easy,but a lot goes into this lifestyle. It's a sacrifice to be on the road, and even though you do local now...still not for everyone. Takes a special person to do this day in and day out.

The Bible studies are awesome. As for the weather, I live in Maryland and it has been 70 one day and 30's the next but thankfully no snow this years.

@@nieshak The I95 Corridor has become the American version of the Autobahn. 18 Wheelers seem to be avoided by the 4 wheelers (right two lanes) but the two left lanes are open game...75 plus mph. No one seems to comprehend the laws of physics and the need for the 3 second roll. 🙃

How cool was it that everything in your place was restored while you were reading Psalm 23! That Psalm is so often read at funerals that you do get tired of hearing it. Or when you do hear it, you think of death. Loved your breakdown. God is a loving and caring Shepherd who takes care for His flock. Yes, it's always good to pretrip no matter what. I had an assigned tractor and still checked. Granted, like she said, if you drive it often, maybe checking the oil daily isn't necessary, but check it at least 2 times a week. I have also seen someone's trailer come from under their tractor. The costs it'll cost the company if it falls on the nub of the landing gear they will have to get a wrecker out to pull it up. Both of the ones I saw they just hit the back wheels they were blessed.

I use trucker path to see if it's any traffic on my route and it's usually pretty accurate! And when I see traffic I use it to find a different way around it

Years ago I linehauled dropbelly pup trailers.The BEST job I ever had.R.P.S-if any one remembers.
My mother in law her grandkids (my step daughters and niece and nephew) and sister in law use to call my mother in law when she got sick real bad and they use to say that prayer every night. And the grandkids said it one last time at her service.
I haven't worn makeup since I was 15, and that was because I was in modeling school, and we had to. I'm 60 years old now, and my thing would be my hair. I have a short haircut, and I like it tight and done weekly on a good day. I can go every two weeks. I also love perfume, and it's a signature for me. I, however, take care of my face. I exfoliate, moisturize, and use my serum, and I've done that since 7th grade. Hopefully, it helped hold back lots of wrinkles. I'm not judging, but I like to see natural looking makeup on people verses it being caked on, but that's just me.
