    www.insofast.c...
    Finish your basement and increase the value of your home while adding more livable space. The following video and explanations can be applied to both UX and EX panel for interior masonry installations.
    Installing InSoFast Panels with Adhesives
    Step 1:
    Find the Ribs make sure you are gluing the ribbed side of the studs.
    Step 2:
    Apply Adhesive Run a 3⁄8-in bead of adhesive along all 3 studs.
    Step 3:
    Press in Place Check that your panel is right-side up, with the rib-side facing the wall and that any interlocking edges meet. Press firmly against your wall.
    Now you are ready for electrical wiring.
    InSoFast® wiring chases are located 1-1/4" below the surface of the panel. InSoFast panels are designed for use with standard Romex® Romex® type wiring is simple to install. Individual runs can be pushed or slid through the horizontal or vertical chase ways up to 12' from box to box or up into the floor system. If you have any difficulties sliding the wire through the chase way, bend over the end of the Romex® wiring. The use of a fish tape is generally not required unless pulling multiple wires at one time. If you wish to eliminate the fish tape, slide one wire through and then tape the multiple wires on.

    ...here tiny shipping containers got popular. But very rare. BUT...already sharks want to do business with it. Lol...and do such homes, which ain't so popular yet, and sell these homes very much overpriced! Lol!!! Then one can build a traditional house anyways! Lol...no fool will build a shipping container house, of its as expensive as a traditional 🏠! But this channel is very good! I want to sell my big house. And build a tiny home instead....

    Can you do a video of how to install with the concrete fasteners shown?
    Also it looks like all the videos are on concrete or cinderblock basement walls; what is the best way to attach to brick masonry (or plaster on brick) walls?

      @insofast-continuous-insulation  Před 3 lety

      Here are two links that will answer your question. Professional basement waterproofing contactors do use the panels as part of a drainage system, but all water issues should be remedied before you invest in finishing your basement. The panels should be sealed at the floor to eliminate air flow and not allowed to drain onto the floor. www.insofast.com/explore/faq-before-you-finish-your-basement.html/ www.insofast.com/explore/faq-insofast-and-perimeter-drainage-systems.html

    Wait, so electrical boxes just float in the Styrofoam? How are they fastened in place? What's preventing a box from wobbling within the cavity? Surely you're not relying on the drywall to secure it.

      We are different than a framed wall with big gaps in between the studs. We are a solid wall, so the corner is fully supported. Believe it or not you don't need a stud in the corner. See this video for a more complete explanation czcams.com/video/9aCiiNLL8r8/video.html

    • @insofast-continuous-insulation
      @insofast-continuous-insulation  Před rokem

      InSoFast is a class III vapor and it is a solid insulation panel. Insulation changes where the dew point will occur, which would be in the center of the insulation where it can not condense, insulation stabilizes the moisture profile of the wall.

      @@antoniopetrou8389 Continuous Insulation is the best way to go. In construction wall framing usually is only insulated in-between the studs. As for how much insulation you need depends on a lot of factors. The size of the space you are conditioning where you place the insulation and other factors. The more insulation you add the better it performs... to a point. Doubling your insulation does not double your savings. for more information see this web page or call us we would be happy to help you determine what would work for you. www.insofast.com/explore/insofast-plus.html

      It is common in the summer that the glue will get to warm (liquefy) and not have a fast grip. Chill the glue to make it more viscous (sticky). Trust the glue it will set up strong. Proceed with the project and stack the wall, then brace the wall until the adhesive sets. czcams.com/video/kBpUqJty0pU/video.html

    I think you started the second row wrong at the corner. In the first row you put the first panel at the facing wall and then the side wall, for the second row they usually suggest to alternate walls for the first panel placement. So, if you started at the facing wall in the first row then you start the second row from the side wall and then for the third row facing wall again etc.
