When I was a kid, I used to watch the award shows with my mother. Now as an adult that is old enought to have kids, I feel like I would never be able to have those moments with my own. Oscars, Grammy's, none of them.

Being born in the 70s, I grew up watching wrestling with my dad. When I had my son, my son then grew up watching it with my dad. My dad loved Jon Cena. The whole military saluting persona. The fact he never switched from good to the dark side. My dad was diagnosed with ALS in his 70s. He was eventually put into a Veteran's nursing home. He watched Cena until the day he slipped away. If my dad were alive today, he would be so angry and would nothing but disgrace towards Cena. Would lose all respect for Cena. This saddens me that Cena would betray God people for 👹👹💰💰

The Oscar's back when I was a child was a very formal event that was focused on movies, producers/directors, actors/actresses, musical scores, etc., etc. Now it's like watching MTV video awards with Howard Stern flying in as Fartman. Back then I loved Howard Stern and loved that stunt. Because it WAS the MTV awards. The Oscar's is no longer the respectable formal truly entertaining event anymore.

It's just getting ridiculous this is the first time I have seen it I do not watch any award shows at all I haven't watched them since I was in my early 20's but when I see clips of situations that have happened on award shows It's totally different like the Will and Chris incident and this John Cena so called funny joke
I remember when crazy stuff would happen back in the day on award shows and they would cut everything and go to a commercial immediately Even if it came back from a commercial and the incident was not resolved they go to another commercial until it was completely over Now anything can be televised and advertised on these award shows I mean these award shows used to be about families having a great night maybe dinner barbecues or parties They sit down and watch these events to see their favorite artist and actors get awards and perform and interact with other celebrities Now they just set up stuff to make these award shows relevant and paint a really bad imagery I don't watch or listen to anything at all I'm in my late 30's now If it doesn't have any gems jewels message motivation encouragement or knowledge Something that can benefit the better of myself physically mentally & emotionally in the mind and spirit Then I don't want to see or hear it Now you know after this stunt from John Cena we are going to see him on a bunch of movies shows and commercials Great job Cena we appreciate you for showing all your fans that what you are doing is cool
