    Thank you
    Hi
This Jaguar XK came to me with a couple of faults...
On this video, will be checking the Pedestrian Fault warning that pops up in the information display.
A quite straight forward one, with only a few setbacks...

Good morning Luis, A good and expensive looking Jaguar. Two faulty sensors diagnosed and the customer haggling for a used replacement from ebay. Happy you stood to your principles. Good work as always 😊

I used SDD in engineering mode to turn the warning off. Problem solved forever, and no risk of destroying my hinges if i hit a badger.

You mean disabling the pedestrian sensor itself?

@@toffeepie1878 No the system is still present, you're turning off the warning so if it is broken you don't know about it.

Nice Luis. Second hand sensors??? People have to get their priorities straight. Why do most people have a problem spending money on their car , which is a necessity , but not with wasting money on hobbies and stuff they want but not actually need?? I guess I am getting OLD. 🤥

Blimey those sensors 3 times more expensive than the Mercedes!!! With other faults sounds like will be costing a fortune 😂

      Yes... they are expensive...

Its a common problem on early cars. You only need to remove the under tray and then you have easy access to both.

As I said on the video... was a reason why I did not removed the under tray...

It took me 5 hours to re fit the under tray on my 2009 XKRS, at least a day to remove it. There's about 2 billion bolts and Chimney nuts holding that on, mostly rusted through. Jaguar never wanted people to get under that car

@@LMAutoRepairsIs the Supercharged variant easy to access I think you can get into them from the engine hood with the radiator cover pulled?
