First ever CFL game I've watched, this was stunning
You caught a good one!
I accidentally tune into the grey cup almost every year & its usually really entertaining
Now that's football. Good show and a great ending. Congrats Montreal.
Montreal won the last 8 games of the season. The Alouettes won with heart and determination under a new ownership and great football minds. They peaked at the right time and in a very short period of time. Congrats to the players and organization. We won the cup!!!🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
…. Yes
I was so mad when they won cuz I’m a big blue bombers fan and they always make to the grey cup but never actually win it but good game still
Lmao
As a Toronto fan, I'm glad the team lost to the eventual Grey cup champion. They certainly peaked at the right time the last couple months.
@@YoBasiC Lmao.
Quel match absolument incroyable! Les deux équipes ont donné tout ce qu'elles pouvaient, Montréal a particuliement bien joué apr;s la mi-temps.
*ce qu’elles pouvaient
dsl :)
Bombers, you did us proud. It was a well played game by both sides, and I offer my congratulations to the Als.
As a fan the O/C should have been replaced after last years lost he called the same game as last year and failed again except for the one Dempski sweep play which got 15 yds try again
The BB will go again next season. 👍
I know the Super Bowl is the big event, because of the hype the half time show etc..., but the when you look at the final game, the Grey Cup is the more exciting game, and most of the time it,s played in the cold!!! Congrats toe Montreal!!!
No one believed in the Als accept the die hard fans, they won the last eight games of the season, great team, well deserved win, the 2023 Grey Cup Champions, the Montreal Alouettes !! GO ALS GO !!
As I look back, I enjoy each highlight replay video more and more. What a thrill it was for me and my brother, longtime Alouette fans, at our first Grey Cup game. We were happy the Als made it this far but did not realistically expect a win. What a finish! So many great individual efforts. Mack and Fajardo should share MVP. Other analysts say Montreal was lucky. Take away some bad calls and the Als would have won in a blowout. And to top it all, I got to share the Als achievement two weeks later in Hawaii with former Als great, Junior Ah You. He sent congratulations to Montreal in French. He is still an Alouette at heart. Felicitations Montréal. Aloha from Hawaii.
I am overjoyed as this was the ALS finest hour. Their never give up and desire to achieve victory when almost no one gives them a chance. This team will go down in CFL history as GIANT KILLERS!!!
To The Montreal Alouettes Organization and the players you are indeed true Champions winning the 110th Grey Cup. Many sports analysts had us as underdogs but they were wrong had overlooked key facts. Montreal had won 8 consecutive games to beat Toronto destroying them in the eastern final. We then took on the Bombers thinking they were to walk all over us and build there dynasty . Well they to were wrong because Montreal had determination, wanted it more then them and had the proper mind set !! Job well done be very proud of each and everyone of you , Cody you deserved the MVP , austin Mack making a one handed catch with the other hand tied up talk about who is champs !!! very proud of the entire team and looking forward to the 2024 season . A special thanks to head coach Jason Maas for being our coach ... Happy we stunned winnipeg lol :) 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Best part of this? They present the Cup to a veteran Offensive Guard. No team owner anywhere in sight.
Bring it back to Montréal. Rapporter la coupe 🏆 à Montréal Québec et en français en plus ✊🏻👊🏻
Oui monsieur
much better of a game then the superbowl hype we have here in the states, and Green Day was great! CFL is great!!
Thats why i love the CFL game better , i do watch NFL but this was a classic for years to come
W-O-W. Love the CFL. Lions' fan but thoroughly enjoyed the Grey cup game.
What a game! Missed it live! But watch all the replays and stuff. Clean game ! That’s great canadian football !
That was possibly the best all around final. Wasn’t sure about Green Day, but they were awesome. Great game from the best league.
What an amazing finish
This was the best Grey Cup game I have ever seen. Last year's was the best last year, but this beat even that. Awesome plays by offense, defense and special teams on both sides. Great play calling, too. No bad penalties, no bad behaviour ruining the game. Even the halftime show was great. Winnipeg has been playing really entertaining football the last 5 years, and Montreal really ramped it up at the end of the season.
Great excitement from the commentator. Wonderful game.
Cool watching a game knowing a buddy I went to high school with is in this game
Never thought i'd root for any team east of Winnipeg but they had a good run so i "cheered" for Mtl.
Wow. With the Als winning the Grey Cup, and the Université de Montréal's Carabins in the finals of the Vanier Cup next week against UBC, it's unmistakable: Québec rules Canadian football, hands down.
Terrific game by both Winnipeg and Montreal. Both teams gave a magnificent effort and did Canada proud. I am sorry neither ESPN nor the NFL Network could broadcast this game here in the U.S. I am already looking forward to next season.
Congratulations to the Alouettes and thanks to both teams for a very entertaining game.
Oho ooo wow the Montreal Alouettes finally won the Grey Cup! Congratulations 🥳 to you all! About time hey! 👏👏👏♥️🏆👏👏🇨🇦♥️👏👏🥳🥳🥳 from Dalhousie NB Canada 🇨🇦! 👍👍👍👍
As an Edmonton fan, i am so happy for Jason Maas!
What a fantastic game, a heart stopper at times.
I’m happy for Jason Maas. He brought the Grey Cup to my sons archery club back in the day.
Both teams put on a great show. Congrats CFL !
12 minutes of highlights and they don't show Fajardo's run in the final minute when it was 2nd-and-18? o.O
What a damn ending!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic clutch football Als!!!! Didnt see a championship coming, but I'll take it !!!
This was a great game and it brought me back to the 2000's back when the Als were dominating. They didn't "dominate" but there was something going on that night, a hunger to win, something the Als had been looking for up until new ownership and staff came in the picture. There was a lot of uncertainty backstage not too long ago. But now the team seems to be more stable in and out of the field, so things are looking good. I think a lot of their efforts were fueled by the fact that not a lot of people thought they'd win, including sports medias and that made it personal for them. I actually saw CTV and TSN caught off-guard in their coverage of the game, even publishing on their apps/websites that the Bombers had won before the game was done. You guys need to hold higher standards. Let this be a lesson.
Excellent comment and observation. Let's add that the CFL itself failed the Alouettes...
An epic win by the Montreal Allouettes!
What a game.
Wonderful win!
What a game!
Congratulations Alouttes! 🐦🇨🇦🏈💪
So much for the so called TSN experts who ALL predicted the BB would win.
TNS even showed on the schedule Winnipeg VS Toronto ? Not a professional station ... even racists
I'm still in shock.
I havnt been able to go to bed. Still on a high @ 2:37 am
What a finish !
I don't care if it's metric football or not, that's some good football! Congrats Montreal.
it is not since we have 110 YARD long fields.
huh ?
CORRECT@@sloburnjo
How the mighty have fallen. Great CFL game!
What a game, wow!!!
This game really had it all. Great offense, great defensive plays, turnovers, close 4th quarter.
+ great halftime show.
@@ADeep007 I like Green Day but that was not a good singing performance. He sounds like he is sick.
@@vdoggydogg3922 You were right about BJA being sick. Green Day cancelled some of their concerts before Grey Cup because members were sick. They did their best.
Excellent game, and exciting finish. As much as the offense shone, there were some spectacular and key defensive moments that could have, and did, turn the game around. Kabion Ento's endzone interception prevenedt a Winnipeg touchdown, and Reggie Stubblefield's sack of Zack Collaros came at a strategic point, that gave the Alouettes excellent field position, and the opportunity to score. And while it did not change the ending, Winnipeg's goal-line stand on their own 1 yard-line to prevent a MOntreal touchdown, and ball-stripping, was impressive.
the American football fans do NOT know what they are missing - the Grey Cup almost ALWAYS delivers a true "SUPER" Bowl - end-end action non-stop thrilling football - the Canadian game is simply a BETTER brand of football - more a throwing game than the American running game - how can you NOT say that was damn exciting ?
USA is a closed minded , racists country of ignorants ....
Yes, the 38 - 35 score of the KC Chiefs over the Philly Eagles last year in the SB was quite boring.
Almost like a spot of British tea.
Please think before you type.
Us Yanks that love football, love the CFL as well. It isn't a competition, it's just different.
We love Zach Collaros, great kid.
spconrad9612 Well, the last 5 Grey Cups have been won by an average of 9 points. The last 5 Super Bowls have been won by an average of 10.8 points. So not a huge difference, but it seems like the Grey Cup is a bit more exciting by that metric.
@daerdevvyl4314 I will say the extra movement by numerous players prior to the snap of the ball does lend to more excitement of the game overall. The only things I don't care for are the 25 yd deep end zones. I'm not saying they need to be 10 like ours, but 15 seems better, but it is what it is. I think the 4 down system for a first down is better, but that's because of how I was raised watching.
Again, by no means am I putting down the CFL. When I watch, I enjoy it.
I agree 100% our game is exciting
Great finish. Haven’t watched a single CFL game except this one. (I have been keeping tabs on the regular season standings though). I said Montreal would win, (and I didn’t want Winnipeg winning three) so big congrats to Montreal, they showed the drive and grit needed to win
La fin de match est folle !
It looked bad for Montreal after the goal line stand at the end of the first half. But they came out flying for the second half and got a touch down right away. They never looked back. Were the best team in the second half by far.
yeah but thats not knowing the alouettes well buddy this tean has such caracter its incredible
If a person stops the replay of the goal line stand of the overhead camera and draw a line along the goal line it can be seen that the line goes through the QB's lower hips which would indicate the ball is over the goal line. The command centre made some really poor calls that all favoured Winnipeg.
stats dont reflect that.
@@northvanwan7428 Bombers scored 7 points in the second half. Alouettes scored 21 points in the second half.
@@vincealberta9699 6:12 The overhead camera isn't directly overhead, so doesn't show his actual position over the line. You can tell, because the crossbar looks like it is two yards behind the goal line. A direct overhead shot should have the crossbar directly over the line.
There needs to be conclusive proof to overturn a call on the field. Didn't look to me like there was enough evidence to do that. And I was cheering for Montreal.
What a crazy come back . But the Blue bombers had a great season
Congrats to the Al's. What a great game
I live in America BUT I love watching the CFL.
I grew-up across the river from Windsor, Ont in Detroit. I’ve always loved the Grey Cup. What interesting is those games use to be played in icy snowy conditions. The mild weather is an indicator that global warming is for real. 😮
I could go for some Tim Hortons now. 😂
Tim Hortons is owned by Burger King a USA compagny ...nothing Canada ...

The Long Snapper Snapped The Ball And Then Got The Fumble!!!! That Is Cool/Crazy
All those great receivers! Time to make a change for Winnipeg at the Offensive coordinator position! Buck Pearce called a too conservative approach to this game and quite a few other games during the season! With all that firepower at their disposal on offence these guys should be hanging 40+ points a game! Montreal played it smart! kept it close…but it wasn’t all them! Congratulations Montreal
I AGREE he should have been gone last year his play book is to small compare his play to all the different looks they had in 2019 that was the best cfl team ever
tres Bon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TSN In PLS Right now! It's the right time to apologise to Montreal!
For what?
@@my3dviews For NOT being professionals.
@@j.coursol5249 In what way?
@@my3dviewsBecause they had Toronto against Winnipeg on the Bill Board before the game between Toronto and Montreal was over. They were over confident in their end results but as a professional Sport Organization you never do that, it is arrogant and rude. I do agree that on paper, Toronto & Winnipeg were more stronger than Montreal, but you have to wait until the end before you announce a winner.
@@j.coursol5249 Bill board? Where was that? I saw that the TV listing on some guide showed Toronto vs. Winnipeg, but that may have been a mistake by the TV provider (like Rogers or Telus) rather than TSN themselves.
But, I watched all of the games and never saw TSN claiming that Toronto won before it was over.
Too painful to rewatch but just wanted to pop in to say congrats to the Als and their fans
Man i wish i couldve seen this game. And greenday at halftime. man oh i wish.
Im a roughrider fan but couldnt of wished more for cody fajero
I wished that they would air the grey cup on CTV, CBC.
Higlight missed Fajardos 2 and 18 run for 13 yards.
Awesome win! Congrats Montréal!
playing Bighill was a mistake by Winnipeg He was beaten bad all game especially on Spieker's Touchdown
Let's gooooo Alouette!!! Grey cup Champs!!! Hell yeah!!
Why don't they have the Grey Cup patch on there jerseys
Super game 👍
Where was the pass interference call on the Mack reception? Mack had to play against the Winnipeg BD and lack of reffing, but still made the play.
Bombers fans going crazy after the loss and breaking their TV’s at 11:22.
Montréal on n'est les champions🎉
Can just see both teams in a bar doing maple syrup shots, apologizing to the other. While watching hockey
Congratulations Montreal!
I love Montreal ♥️♥️♥️
Fantastic Grey Cup.
The game.
Green Day.
The post-game.
The great TSN coverage.

35 came awfully close to blowing it right there at the end...
Yeah, that could have been a tragic error! Trust your teammates
The CFL Grey Cup is way more exciting than the NFL (No Fun League) Super Bowl. Go BB! Watching in 🇬🇧👍🇨🇦🏈🏆
Love me some football!!
GARDEZ LE VOT’ ANGLAIS
As a bomber fan hats off to the AL S playing a smart game as for the bombers the best talent in the cfl all the tools but no toolbox . THE O/C IN WINNIPEG needs to go since last year you can t keep calling the same plays over and over and then decide to play hero ball at the 30 yrd line in the 3rd qtr and get intercepted from hero to zero in seconds at that point lose the game the turning point in the game
Weren't the QB's for both teams once played for the Argos at one point?
Yes. Both Fajardo and Collaros played for Argos at some point.
It's too bad that all Canadians were blocked from watching this Grey Cup game by a few TSN greedsters.
agreed, and I was shut out all season but tsn allowed me to view hilites, thanks 😅😂
Is it possible to get a rule clarification? Why try and kick the ball into the endzone on that last play instead of running the ball and trying to score?
The Blue Bombers were hoping they had someone onside to catch the kick for the touchdown.
I can't believe they are blocking my NFL gameday subscription.
Refs tried their damn hardest to hand another one to Winnipeg.
Alouette, gentille alouette..........
What was the last play all about ? Can someone explain ?
You can punt the ball from anywhere on the field and anyone behind the “punter” and the “punter” himself can recover the punt like an onside kick.
So you throw a deep in, hopefully the D comes up to rally then he punts and it’s like a free ball down the field for all the WRs who are already running full speed down the field to recover the ball.
❤❤❤
Good game.
#35 almost messed up at the end
🔥
CBS sport network did not air the championship game 😡
Austin Mack will be missed to this team.
As a Rider fan who thinks Cody got screwed over, I'm happy for him. As a Rider fan, I'm also glad Winnipeg lost....again.
So Cody Wasn’t Good enough to play for the Riders
Refs favoured Wpg so much

I agree.

On gagne en français!!!!
Not bad for the CFL
Since any team in the cfl can beat another on any given day, because there are so many factors that go into winning a game, I suggest that under the current system of determining a champion, the best overall team didn't necessarily win. A bad bounce here, a wrong call there, a missed catch or tackle by inches goes a long way in determining the outcome of a game. A truer means to crown a champion might be to play a two game total points series separated by a week off, with each team having a game played in their home stadium. The majority of other sports don't determine the best team by playing just one winner take all game. I'm not sure of the logistics involved in making the two game method a reality, but if it could work, then it would create a little more certainty in who was the best team. I am a long time Bomber fan, even though I no longer live in Manitoba, but it was still satisfying to see another team celebrate their win and enjoy the fruits of their labor. After all, those who enter into a competitive sport realize that there can be only one winner. It was an enjoyable game to watch with both teams putting up good efforts and the Winnipeg team should feel no shame in their close loss.
Dude Montreal suffered 90% of the bad calls this game and still won. Montreal won 8 straight games to end the season and were 0-3 and 0-2 to the Argos and Bombers in the regular season. As for multi game series, it doesn't work in football. The game is just too brutal and in Canada you want to try to end the season before the snow picks up.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. No respect to Montreal, they played a determined game and I'm happy for them. I was making a general comment. As far as a two game final goes, they could start the season a little earlier to compensate for the extra game at the end of the season. Agreed that football is a grueling sport, but that would allow teams to dig deep into their reserve players and let them pull some more of the load. A great team should also have a lot of talented depth in their roster. @@jecrex8349
Sorry, I meant, no disrespect to Montreal. Ooops.
agreed, twice in the fifties they had 2 game grey cups, worth another try. would be fairer to both teams.
