@@IRQMrNine the same bro. I like the curved screen of the S23 Ultra and all work flawlessly. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy is still a monster.
Can you tell me something I updated to 6.1 to and I always used to use protect battery thing and It used to stop at 85%now after updating it stops at 80 is there something wrong with my phone or is it new?
@@myos5213 you're right. Now maximum battery protection is set to 80%. UI 6.0 was 85%.
As a long term iPhone user I bought s23 ultra last year. I am glad I bought it. I am surprised Samsung rolled this uptade for s23 ultra. Didn't expect it.

Actually, received the update on my unlocked, unbranded phone and TMobile S23U the day of the roll out. That has never happened before!

This release made LockStar and AOD a hot mess. Hopefully, this will get addressed down the line.
I don't know why they removed the individual 3 swipe navigation bar
I found it uncomfortable and didn't use it. The one now is much better

I was not expecting all the AI features. Litteraly enjoying my S23 Ultra. Waited anxiously for One Ui. A very smooth and full of features upgrade. Being an IT expert these AI features are not just gimmicks but practical in usage. The most exciting and helping features are Notes assist, circle to search , and live translate and transcribe. Didn't tested Live call translation but it seems very helpful.

What are your thoughts on whether the S23 Ultra firmware is capable of the functionality of the photo ambient wallpaper? I tried the S24 Ultra for a few days and I didn't feel that it was worth the money to upgrade from my S23 Ultra. So i returned it, I was able to use the photo ambient wallpaper. And it was awesome, so I was really bummed when I saw that it wasn't coming to the S23 Ultra. Also I thought there was a way to Hide the Navigation bar for the circle to search. I thought you made a video i've been looking back and I can't find it. Could you please explain it or repost the video if you'd made one.

Update came through this morning for my unlocked s23 ultra. Also you have to turn on live translate and also update notes and voice recorder before things will work

Just did this but I can't download language packs. I can only download English, other language like Japanese and Korean can't be downloaded. Anyone here knows how to resolve this? Thank you

There is battery draining issue with the upadation
I am 100% sure, battery draining issue will happen after update, just wait for another update fixed or dont updatw😅 , i am using samsung from s20ultra, i experienced update brings battery drain issue, slow, not consistent, camera issue(not optimize) . Stock are always far better than latest update.
At least for my phone it has, I was getting around 22h of battery life and how I'm getting 1 day 1 h of battery life.
I've read that there will be a noticeable drain for a couple of weeks and then after your phone adjusts to your usage it goes back to normal
What is the impact on battery? Any improvement or any issues?

@@SuperUnknownKIDS yes ambient wallpaper where it adds AI features like if it relays on the weather outside and create effects like your wallpaper snowing or raining or Thunderstorm the picture .. this did not come to S23 6.1 Version ,, only so far yet exclusive to S24

@ucheamadi7440 the ai features allows you to crop objects in photos and either move them/make them bigger or remove them then the ai generates a new picture for you. I know you could kind of do that before but it's just so cool how it generates new backgrounds etc lol

This ai photo editor is the best.i love and the amount of thing it can like removing pictures and fixing background is just amazing ,I don't really us any other feature but this photo editor feels like it's from future,amazing stuff thank you samsung.loving my s23 u journey
I have one ui 6.1 on my flip 5. Most of the AI features won't work on the cover display. That sucks.... Overall I'm impressed. Great features. Love using them.
Under the goodlock app thr more options on gestures is gone now ypu dnt have options to go back from the bottom right
Chill guyz! I know what you saying but the truth is first of all, s24 ultra is best in Camera 3x to 5x to 10x. Keep in mind along with 200mp, 50mp camera added instead of 10mp (previously on s23 ultra)
Best because they expanded the thermal cooler that will keep the device cooler
AI call translation is just awesome , and the AI circle select feature (might come for S23 ultra update later also)

Did the 6.1 update for the s23 ultra kept director view in the app camera, or they changed by dual app mode cause i don t wanna loose director view mode in the camera modes.

Great update that made my s23 Ultra a s24 ultra.
When the s24U came out I was so close to paying that $400 for the trade-in but honestly thank God I didn't it would have been a waste of 400 since the s23U is basically the same thing
The navigation gestures changed not for better
Can't agree more! I needed to install Nav Star to use the other gesture option (the old menu).
The Circle to Search is not something that I will use regularly so I can pass it '~'

I updated navstar and still can't get the three small gestures lines on the bottom that I used to have
That won't solve the issue in Tab S9 Ultra. In Galaxy phones ok not in tablets
@SAKITECH there is no way to get rid of the circle to search line if your using gestures instead of the navigation buttons...and I hate that. It's really annoying.
Hey I need some assistance like now and it's getting annoying, I opted in into beta for the one UI 6 back in 2023 but ever since my phone has been stuck in beta mode. Ive tried everything to get it out because it won't let me update my phone at all. I contacted support and they just told me I was in one UI 6.1 beta and I showed everything to them and they just said no I was wrong. I don't know what to do now I've tried everything and I even factor reset twice, please help me.
Just downloaded new update and installed on unlocked s23 ultra using Verizon. Gonna have a fun afternoon checking things
out. Quick question: is there a way to download the transcript? Going back and forth between the video and other settings sometimes resets YT back to initial opening. Thanks.
Update: I have 3 browsers: Chrome, Firefox and Samsung Internet; Chrome for some lookups, Firefox for other sites and Samsung for dedicated Kindle orders (Google forced that). I swapped search engines to Duck, Duck Go to check Circle Search. Worked fine. Did same on Samsung, worked there. Seems like any browser will do.

I love it on my s23 ultra. The only slight annoyance to me is,that I can't alter the brightness for the always on display. I also have the update on my tab s9 ultra as well. So all really good.

@@treycain8932 bro .I have done hard reset and it seems fine after that .I did a clean installation from scratch..didn't restore anything.now I getting good battery life
@@treycain8932 bro it was ok after I did a hard reset. I haven't restored any backup or apps files.cimoletelty wiped of the data and installed all required apps from scratch ..now the battery backup and charging seems fine and no drain and gets a day backup with no issues as it was before the update

one thing I'm not a fan of is the new swipe gesture but it seems like it will be something new i will have to deal with. Swipe all the up to see all open apps

I got the update today and non of the ai features work despite the circle and slowmotion feature. The system always say: feature currently not aviable. if i want to use the ai keyboard or the ai gallery-editor, i hope they fix it soon :(
I have the S23 plus and am getting the update right now. It's a 2954.10 MB file version ending in CXCG

An hour before, I updated my S23 Ultra...but unfortunately, my phone got stuck,, don't know why??? now I'm checking the comment section anyone get the same complaint while updating....😢stuck means that, after updating, the phone restarted and explore...next... then nothing went. Just the Android logo...I couldn't access my phone now😞
earlier I used to go back by swiping up from right bottom. Its no longer working.
