    I like how you give simple instructions and let them stay on the screen in white to read for a while longer.. and you don't give us long boring intro's about yourself and your garden bla bla bla! Thanks! I added peppers.. so I am gonna see how that turns out :-)

      Thanks! Yes I prefer these quick style recipe tutorials, I think when people look for video recipes they just want a quick visual how to, without the extra commentary :)

    Loved the video. I was wondering if these can be made to water bath for longer shelf life?

      Thanks! Yeah for sure, I would probably just increase the amount of vinegar in the recipe to keep it better preserved if you want to do water bath pickling for longer shelf life, good luck!

    boiling the tomatoes make them soft. not for me. i like crispy tomatoes.

    Do you not put the jars in a hot water bath??

      No, that is not necessary for this method of pickling

      I would recommend at least 24+ hours before you start eating them

    are Green tomatos a different breed?
    Or are Green tomatos UNRIPE tomatos?

      They are just unripe tomatoes, when the plants start to die or the season is ending you will have lots of small green tomatoes on them that will never turn red, so you can just pickle them and eat them, or you can even pick them before they ripen for pickling.

    waste of space with them nasty carrots lol
