Thrash and metal in general needs more of this phrygian scale. Megadeth is doing it now and then with great effect. I'm such a sucker for it and for the metal songs with oriental vibe into them like Home by Dream Theater, Sails of Charon by Scorpions etc.

I recall you were so much into one of a fun pagan folk metal band song an year ago namely Monnsorrow - Kylaan Paassa. You liked the awesome long screams and jolly folk metal rytms lol If thats still valid thery have another killer song thats no joke in that matter called Sankarihauta. A guy synced it very well with sequences from an equally awesome film called the Rings of the nibelungs czcams.com/video/tYRArhM2uDI/video.html . If you dont think youll get blocked or something pls react to that version since the combination is just fascinating.
