Tnx for showing the sound when on. I would be a bit worried about it being quite loud since it's so compact and bright. The sound was only when in Eco, right? How is it in normal mode? Good to know you can always change to Noctua Fans if it's too loud đđ
@@thomasgammelby9309 The sound is usually mainly XPR motors for the Pixel shifting. That is a big problem with the x500i. But it appears to be better here.
Disagree, there is a use case for this; I literally have this 4â from my rear wall to be able to project 135â wall to wall on the other. No other throw ratio fits so well, and USTs are plagued with a myriad of issues specific to UST and require some pretty high effort level screen mounting or a screen made specially for ust
It's great for what's it's designed for. The 1st use is golf sims. Where you'll be standing Infront of the screen close so most long throws will be blocked. 2. Short throw is still better than long throw as more light is hitting the screen. & they still are better than ust as the corners are sharp unlike most ust where corner sharpness is non existent. Plus it'll project 150" in less than 10ft distance while having all the positives. So even for non golf sims it's great.
Very good review! I like the thoroughness in the menus đ
Great review, thanks!

Thanks for the video great review. Love your accent đ
Either normal throw or ULTRA short throw, this seems like hassle realistically having to be mounted in the middle of the room on the ceiling.
Good thing there is a regular throw version
