I have 2 interesting facts about it:
No. 1 - It is known as the Legendary Pokemon but is not Legendary
No. 2 - Its stats are higher than its counterpart (Ninetales). They are version exclusive pokemon in gen 1 and its remake and also in other games

The reason why Rydon was everywhere in almost every video game ever was because Rydon was the first pokemon ever created and was first drawn when the creator of Pokemon was a kid and whos parents tore up the drawing and punished him for wasting his life drawing instead of doing something useful with his life.

Fly was added to Charizard's learnset in Yellow. It was only in Red and Blue where it couldn't learn the move. In fact, Charizard couldn't learn a single Flying-type move in Red and Blue.

Regarding Pidgeotto: although it indeed evolves from Pidgey starting at lvl. 18, in the Viridian Forest you can find wild Pidgeottos at lvl.9 in Yellow or even at lvl. 7 in HGSS. So Falkner may not be either cheating or such as an exceptional Bird Keeper after all...
There were originally going to be 190, but it was cut down to 151 due time constraints and hardware limitations.

There's a "Weepingbell Hall" in a Dwarven ruin, a skeleton called "Peke Utchoo", a "Kakuna Burial" in a set of burial caverns that you have to visit for the main story, and a "Charma's Breath" (referencing Charmander) in a Dark Elf stronghold.

I still wanna know what's going on in the wild that they can evolve so early but as a trainer with a pidgey we just don't have what it takes
@@Dan_- Thanks to Pokemon go’s CP System, I have a Level 7 Blastoise that I transfered up to home, so a lot of seemingly “illegal” levelled pokemon are legitimately possible to obtain using that method (P.S, I caught the blastoise, in the wild, fully evolved at 481 CP with Max IV’s)

A quick correction about Charizard: it could actually learn fly in Pokemon Yellow Version, which was still part of Generation 1. So you could trade a Charizard from Red or Blue Version into Yellow Version then teach it Fly and trade it back.
Edit: it is possible to find underevolved Pidgeotto in Veridian Forest in Yellow Version, completely legitimately.

You can get a level 9 legitimate (unhacked) Pidgeotto in Viridian Forest of Pokemon Yellow version. It's a 1% chance, so you either have to be lucky or be looking for it. Therefore Falkner probably found it that way.
