Awesome review! I love the EW Honey too, but i like the old bottle that u reviewed. The new bottle tastes nothing like honey and ALL like vanilla. Review the new bottle, which has a paper label and not a clear label and tell me what u think.
What the hell's wrong Evan Williams? Evan Williams Honey is the only thing I've been drinking for the last several years. This new version with the orange label on the bottom sucks. The woman in the liquor store warned me that it wasn't the same recipe, and that people had been complaining about it. I purchased a half gallon anyway. It sucks. It's like being a Pepsi lover and discovering the last bottle of Pepsi you bought tastes like Coke, and is totally flat. No one will be buying this after they taste it. I hope they are saving plenty in production. And I hope it's enough to make putting one of the nicest flavored bourbons down the drain, which is just where this half gallon is going.
Nice review but I don't want to have sex with it. I just want to enjoy a couple of shots. What scottwalker2398 said! The new crap tastes like smokey burnt butterscotch and has a horrible after taste. It tastes like a pecan whiskey I once bought and gave away. They lost a loyal customer with this one. This new flavor now tastes like most honey whiskeys. Too smokey, too burnt or too sweet with a terrible aftertaste. I've been drinking EW's honey whiskey for years. I'll never buy another bottle. I hope they don't screw up the 1783 and cherry whiskey.

For $15.00 I'd absolutely pick it up just to see what's it like! That's so cheap! I wish Canadian whisky prices were as inexpensive!! Cheers!
