Goddamn, this is extremely good. Felt like an genuine episode you might see in the show. Honestly seen a couple of other of these AI Voice Presidents play Dual Monsters and they all make me wanna get back into the game but, it's been around for so long and changed so much since I was a kid that I would be lost immediately upon entering. Maybe someday though, I do remember how extremely fun it was despite how awful I was at it
errr...well, for a quick rundown of every new ways to summon since dm
Synchro: those cards are in your extra deck same as your fusions, you need a tuner to summon them, and match the number of stars/the level that synchro number has with that tuner and the other requirements the synchro monster has (exemple: 1 stars tuner maiden with white eyes and 8 stars blue eyes white dragon = 9 stars synchro monster blue eyes spirit dragon)
XYZ: again reliant on a monster's level, this method of summoning requires multiple monsters of the same level in order to be summoned. (exemple: Two blue eyes white dragon (level 8) = galaxy eyes cipher dragon (level 8) )
Pendulum: alright, this one is often the most confusing one so here i go...this is what uses those pendulum zones, first, you need to set your pendulum scale by placing pendulum monsters on each side of those zones. The level between those two pendulum monsters "scales" bassicaly dictate the level of monsters ya can summon. (exemple: ddd orthos put on left scale (level 3 scale) and dd savant keeper on the right scale (level 10 scale) = summon monsters between level 4 and 9). Note: it counts as a built in special summon if im not wrong...
Link summon: Works similarly to tribute summoning, exept with a few changes. One:link monsters cannot be put on defense position; two: the "link level" does count for the next link summon amd some other changes. (Exemple: salamangreat sunlight wolf (link 2) and salamangreat fowl= link summon link 3 salamangreat heatleo)
i may have missed a few, but i hope this helps understand some basics of few new stuffs
Extremely different. I loved going back to it for a bit but I watch the animes so I knew most of the mechanics. Was hype to do like 8 special summons in a turn haha.
If you want to get back to it, playing with online sims like Master Duel would be the way to go. It has solo play modea that gradually introduce new mechanics and decks that you can get accustomed to.

I love how Trump has a decent deck, then tries to win with f*cking Dragon Treasure, and Biden has cards that completely don't work together, but has anime protag luck
I love the anime continuity and how it's meta is decided not by banlists and strats, but how many broken rare cards you can cram into your deck, or how much unearthly luck you can muster with every draw.
@@azariyelvarro6271 lmao yeah. What decks do you like playing irl or on Master Duel ect? I have a Speedroid deck, and a Lyrilusc deck and cyber dragon deck I'm working on. So I'll essentially have a Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz focused deck

@@azariyelvarro6271 well I read of yugioh haveing at minimum of s 20 or 30 k card pool at the start of the series and there seems to be no sets meaning at any point the packs could each be drawing from z pool of 5 k and each pack only has 5 cards in it so that means cards are much much rarer then irl so things like 3 sets of exodia are pretty much impossible. Teas deck ois what s casual deck looks like in universe where as things like full sets of arctypes even bad ones are serious players.

Biden used bubbleman incorrectly. The anime version lets him draw 2 if there are no other cards on the field when it's summoned.
He was using the actual version, not the anime version, I'm pretty sure.

@@DarthMagog not really. just Blue-Eyes and Dark Magician itself, and only certain older copies of the cards. most of their support doesn't even break a dollar, with a few rare exceptions like Blue-Eyes Alternative which is around 10-15.

Kinda wish they would've stuck more to a dedicated archetype, but it was mostly just "random bullshit go". The dialogue could also be a bit more snappy, but overall still cool.

The last turn is a misplay. Swords wouldn't leave the field after trump's turn. He would've at least survived another turn
I replied to this post before, but can't find the comment, so guess I'm doing this again.
Swords turn 1, Swift Scarecrow
Swords Turn 2, Blue-Eyes initial re-summoning and attack.
Swords turn 3, Dragon Treasure and blue-eyes Destruction.
That was how I had the turns laid out in the script, so if I messed up on displaying it as so in the final version, then I apologize for that.
I think I can see where I might've gotten mistaken, but Trump's next card wouldn't have saved him anyhow, and the way things played out is more dramatically satisfying than both of them passing a turn before the final attack.
Consider it one of those random anime moments which wouldn't play out irl, like when Kaiba folded his hand against Pegasus.
