Wow! I’ve only stayed at one KOA thus far and it wasn’t nearly as nice as this one.. Thanks for the review and helpful tips about this KOA campground !

Yes it was one of the nicest KOAs we’ve been to.

We stayed at West Glacier KOA and Mt. Rushmore KOA. West Glacier was unbelievably nice! Even the shrubbery and flowers inside the campground were trimmed and blooming. Everything about it was top-notch. Wish Rushmore was half as nice…they crowd a lot of people in there, and it was rundown. Thank you for sharing Nashville KOA. It did sound rather noisy.

@@jolenecreech7648 thanks for sharing that feedback about other KOAs. Nashville was generally a bit noisier than some we’ve been too. I think a lot of people are there to party.

KOA parks are nice to stay at especially if you have young kids. There's usually lots for them to do. They've always been expensive compared to most other private campgrounds but holy smokes I didn't know they've gotten this expensive. It's a nice looking park but I'd hate to see what their peak rates are now. Although I admit our kids are grown so it's been several years since we last camped at a KOA and literally everything has gotten expensive 🙄

Yes we have found the chains are very expensive. State Parks and National Parks are much better value, but also much harder to get a space unless you plan far in advance. You’re right however, during the pandemic there was an uptick in people traveling in trailers and prices went up everywhere.

Hey guys, thanks for all your info. Just curious as we have a 4runner which will also be pulling a lesser weight escape, are you guys using a sway bar, or have you thought you might need one as you continue with your journey..... just wanting to be prepared.... thanks

Yes we do use sways bars, we have an Anderson hitch setup. We’ve been told by some they don’t think it’s necessary, and it may not be, but we like to be extra cautious when towing.

nice place - but seems pretty expensive for being so close to the freeway with a good bit of highway noise that I hear in your video.

Definitely agree with that, although the side of the campground we were on had less highway noise so it didn’t bother us
